This collection of stunning bedrooms shows off a great combination of bright and beautiful rooms in a multitude of different styles, but they all manage to have one thing in common, the use of white furniture. This unifying element leaves a lot of wiggle room when it comes to design.
White furniture can be a great way to utilize bright colors without the tone becoming overwhelming. It can be a way to add subtle elegance to a room, much like the one pictured above.
White furniture can also help highlight intricate details, make splashes of color really pop, or brighten up a dark room. The possibilities are practically endless!
Sometimes too much white can be overwhelming or come across as too cold or even institutional. With the addition of just the right amount of color or textural detail, that problem can easily be changed into something positive, cozy, or exquisite.
Getting the right mixture of tones, in fact, is the primary goal of any solid room design. Working with white simply gives us an easy baseline to draw from.
When we begin with the extreme end of the spectrum like this, the other elements can be chosen to contrast or complement with ease. There’s no nuance when it comes to white; however, one thing about white, is it looks clean (white does that). Speaking of clean, if you’re suffering from undiagnosed allergies, one cause may be bed mites – easily solved with protective bedding.
