Welcome to our gallery, featuring the beautiful and sophisticated Hollywood Regency style family home in Sunny Isles, Florida designed by DKOR Interiors.
DKOR Interiors is an all-female interior design team based in Miami, completing projects around the world. They pride themselves on a project who’s concept is developed with the client, and a final project that is a collaboration between all members of the team. Each of their projects is a unique style tailored to the client.
The Hollywood Regency home is inspired by, you guessed it, old Hollywood glamor. During this era, home design was characterized by repetition, reflection, symmetry and film.
DKOR Interiors brought these characteristics into the design of the home through rich textiles, including silk and velvet, bold patterns, and ornate furniture. Bright, high-gloss colors and moldings and reflective glass and mirrors also make an appearance throughout the house.
The ceilings of this home received special treatment, and each room features grand architecture or a stylish wallpaper treatment, along with crown molding.

The outside patio looks out on the water. White metal and wicker furniture is paired with Tiffany blue cushions and napkin rings. The patio is accented with bright green apples and topiaries.

This boy’s room is mostly neutral with a bright, traditional blue in the pillows and curtains. The wall behind the bed acts as an accent wall in gray velvet. The ceiling is wallpapered in a subtle geometric pattern.
The reflective buffet to one side of the glass dining table is topped with glass decanters and a modern wall sculpture.
The transparent oval-backed dining chairs are softened with plush Tiffany blue cushions and pillows. A large piece of art hangs on the wall behind the dining table. An elegant crystal chandelier and two floor lamps light the area.
The yellow foyer opens into a white living room. Metal wainscoting on the door really brings in the glamor. The wallpapered ceiling makes another appearance here, this time in yellow.
A classically Barbie-pink girl’s room with a velvet bed frame and headboard is matched with white bedding and brown accents. The wallpapered ceiling makes another appearance, this time with a small crystal chandelier.
The primarily white living room has a large glass coffee table, and a bright blue and white patterned rug in the main seating area. A large, blue glass chandelier hangs from the wallpapered ceiling.
The warm marble bathroom has red piping along the walls and fixtures. A chandelier hangs above the natural wood vanity.
This brown and Tiffany blue half bathroom is heavily mirrored and has a wallpapered ceiling.
The white and red primary bedroom is all soft textures and fabric with a quilted headboard, soft couch, a bench at the foot of the bed, and a rug in a subtle floral pattern.
From the window, the mirrored closet becomes visible, as does the immense size of the headboard, which is arguably an accent wall.
