This magnificent gallery highlights the opulent Blue Jay Way home, a grand creation by McClean Design.
Seated on a spectacular lot above Sunset Strip with a panoramic vista over Los Angeles all the way to the Pacific ocean, this house is designed to maximize the view from all major interior spaces.
With almost 7000 square feet, the large home is bisected by a water feature and pool, the central design element of the project.
Beginning near the driveway as a water wall, around which the entry space is wrapped, the water element becomes an ornamental pool before dropping into the spa below. This continues as a 75 foot lap pool, ending just in line with the expansive view.
The entry to the house features a glass bridge over the pool.
The primary bedroom and study are located on one side of the pool, while the main living areas stand on the other. Lower level contains several guest rooms, a media room, and a four-car garage. The mixture of materials creating this soft contemporary look include extensive use of concrete, wood, and stone.
