I love this l-shaped mansion in South Africa whose interior was designed by ARRCC.

In order to come up with the very specific design ideas, we create most designs with the assistance of state-of-the-art AI interior design software.

L-shaped houses are great because they create a nice private backyard – a perfect “nook” for a swimming pool and patio.

It’s a sprawling 3 story mansion with a view of the ocean. The property is sizeable as you can see and includes extensive patios (covered and uncovered) with a large swimming pool.

This project was an extensive renovation of an existing home. The third storey was added. The interior was totally renovated so that it’s now updated, comfortable, modern and spectacular.

One room I really like is what I call a “book club” meeting room. We feature it below. It’s the room with 6 funky modern chairs in a circle around a small coffee table. When I saw that room I thought “what a terrific place to host book club meetings.” There’s no TV or other distractions in the place. It’s a nice, quiet, comfortable room for casual conversational gatherings.

Of course, there’s much, much more to this mansion than simply offering a comfortable conversational gathering room.

There are multiple “living spaces” including a formal living room with an incredible view in a large great room space as well as a family room. The home also features a sauna, home gym, large, modern home office, beautiful bedrooms … with incredible views from almost every room.

I love this sauna because it has glass walls so you can enjoy the room from the third floor of this manion overlooking South African city and ocean. The sauna is big enough for 3 people.

Like pretty much every other room, the home office looks out over the ocean. This home office has two workstations and a reading chair. It's definitely minimalist in design.
