Welcome to our gallery featuring a range of bespoke bedrooms with beautiful bookshelves.
Beyond our love for good architecture and immaculately designed homes, we are also voracious readers. We love the look and feel, and yes, smell, of a good book.
There’s nothing quite so satisfying as seeing your collection lined up on the wall in a beautifully crafted display. Well, perhaps reading the books themselves is a greater pleasure, but that’s at topic for another day.
We love the ambiance conveyed by a timeless bookshelf, stocked with classics. Whether placed in the living room, home office, or study, they make a perfect suitable addition to the home. When added to a bedroom, a whole new layer of appreciation is added.
The bookshelves themselves, often ornately carved from quality woods, are a firmly timeless and beautiful piece of furniture that anyone would be proud to own. When they’re designed or purchased to mesh with a room’s existing style, the aesthetic value goes through the roof.
There are nearly as many types of bookshelves as there are books to populate them. We’ve gathered a broad cross section of the styles you’re likely to find, including several that will likely surprise and delight.
Some of these rooms feature standard free-standing bookshelves, the kind you might buy off the shelf, so to speak, which can be found in a range of colors. More intriguing are the wild variety of built-in shelving that we find integrated closely with the rooms themselves.
These built-in bookshelves are an often surprisingly well integrated piece of a given bedroom, meshing with not only the style and architecture, but the mood of the room itself.
Look for particularly striking colors, standout novelty shapes, and stealthy integration with the surroundings. These aspects and more truly highlight the versatility and fun factor inherent in bookshelf design.
We hope that you find inspiration and comfort in this gallery, knowing the limitless ways you can add prominent bookshelves to your own bedroom.
