1. Shabby Chic-Inspired Bedroom

Large primary bedroom featuring hardwood floors and a couple of rustic side tables. There's a glamorous chandelier set on the room's high ceiling.

This spacious shabby chic inspired bedroom features dark hardwood floors paired with a beige cowhide rug that warms up the room.  The weathered chest-of-drawers add the shabby style to the room and the antique brass chandelier brings the chic. The sleigh bed and tufted bench add a bit of tradition and the gorgeous gilded mirror adds a nice flair to the design. You can see a table and chair off to the left side of room with another darker brown cowhide rug underneath. 

2. Contemporary Zen Bedroom

A modish primary bedroom featuring hardwood floors topped by a stylish rug. The room also features a high ceiling and a doorway leading to a private balcony deck.

This zen-inspired bedroom features a large contemporary designed rug which really grounds the room. You will notice there are vaulted ceilings and an entire wall of glass doors which create a bright and open floor plan. There is a gorgeous private deck off of the room with an outdoor fireplace, all that is missing is outdoor furniture. 

3. Modern Cottage Bedroom

I love the mix of textures and style in this modern cottage bedroom. The distressed vintage rug creates a nice backdrop for the upholstered bed and leather tufted bench. Matching white nightstands and marble lamps flank the bed and a beautiful half-empire chandelier hangs from the exposed beam ceiling. The colorful abstract art and custom drapes add warmth and style and the lovely seating area by the french window, completes this charming design.

4. Modern Victorian Bedroom

This modern victorian-inspired  primary bedroom features a smaller traditional rug in brown and beige tones. I think a larger scale rug placed partially under the bed, would have been a better choice for this room.  There is a gorgeous carved wood dresser and victorian armchair which creates a small seating area. The marble fireplace has a flat screen TV hanging above and the swag drapes allow lots of natural light to stream through. 

5. Neoclassical Primary Bedroom

This neoclassical designed bedroom is an absolute stunner just oozing drama with black painted walls and high ceilings. The gray textured rug works perfectly with the dark wood floors and moody ambience. I love the crown moulding throughout and the black french windows which let in just the right amount of light. A beautiful upholstered bed with layered neutral bedding adds a pop of color and warmth to the design. The vertical art that is inset in the wall moulding is stunning and adds another layer of luxurious texture in this moody room. 

6. Contemporary-Monochromatic Bedroom

Medium-sized primary bedroom featuring gray cabinetry and a regular ceiling lighted by a glamorous chandelier. The room features carpet flooring topped by a gray rug.

I love all the neutral built-in cabinets along the wall of this contemporary monochromatic bedroom. The gray rug is layered over a neutral wall-to-wall carpet and adds a nice texture to the design. Some people are against layering rugs over carpet, but I say go ahead and add more depth. The crystal semi-flush light hangs center in the room and the upholstered platform bed is layered perfectly with gray and white bedding. 

7. Modern Coastal Bedroom

A modern primary bedroom with a large bed and a breathtaking ocean view.

Such a gorgeous view, in this modern coastal-stylebedroom that has  picture windows as walls. A plush neutral rug layered under the king size upholstered bed adds warmth to this coastal design. The neutral color palette is the perfect backdrop and doesn’t fight with the incredible blue waters. Woven armchairs and wood stools make up the cozy seating area placed right in perfect sight of the ocean view that goes on for days. I don’t think I would ever want to leave this room if I lived here.

8. Scandinavian-Influenced Bedroom

This  serene Scandinavian inspired bedroom has a lot of windows and doors which create a light and bright designed space. I love the neutral soft rug layered under the white bed and matching wood nightstands. The cane settee placed at the foot of bed, is a genius use of space and extremely utilitarian. The white window treatments and abstract art really complete this Scandi design.

9. Maximalist Bedroom

I would love to take up residence in this incredibly spacious and maximalist designed bedroom. The deep maroon velvet armchair and ottoman really add the perfect pop of color in this mostly brown and beige bedroom. The gorgeous marble flooring is kept warm with a soft textured brown area rug layered under the platform bed. Tons of architectural details on the walls to add depth to the room and incredible abstract art hangs above the bed as a showpiece. A modern 6-light globe chandelier hangs from the ceiling for ambient lighting and the large window wall lets in natural light. 

10. Modern Farmhouse Bedroom

This primary bedroom boasts white walls and ceiling, matching the white window curtains.

This modern farmhouse primary bedroom features white walls with wainscoting and a shiplap ceiling. A black metal canopy bed is set on a blue and gray distressed area rug that grounds the room. Brass light sconces flank both sides of the bed and a beautiful portrait painting adorns the wall above. The white drapes add a layer of depth to this serene modern farmhouse design.

11. Mid-Century Modern Bedroom

A modern primary living room featuring luxurious seats and a large bed, along with perfectly polished hardwood floors topped by a rug.

This Mid-Century style bedroom looks relaxing and inviting. Two Eames black leather lounge chairs to lounge in while staring out those beautiful doors into the greenery. A large platform bed with minimal nightstands and table lamps for task lighting. I love the dramatic drapes that can be closed to blackout the light and the large neutral area rug completes a warm inviting design.

12. French-Inspired Bedroom

There are so many wonderful layers to this bedroom, everywhere I turn I see beauty. Let’s start with the panel screen as a backdrop for the bed wall and the beautiful cross-beam ceilings. The bed is made to perfection and the muted pillow colors are layered elegantly. I love the natural elements such as the vintage wood dresser and the large distressed outdoor vase on a pedestal like art. The beautiful seating area deserves its own page on a magazine, complete with velvet armchairs, side table, floor lamps, custom drapes and vintage light sconces.

13. Rustic Modern Bedroom

Huge primary bedroom suite featuring a sitting area, a fireplace and a widescreen TV on the brick wall. The room is lighted by recessed lights and a gorgeous chandelier.

This spacious primary bedroom suite has a mix of modern and rustic decor with a touch of traditional. I love the beige cowhide rug that takes center stage in the room and the white wash brick fireplace creates a cozy feel. You can practically have a party with all the seating in this room. There is a chaise lounge chair by the windows, a brown high-back chair and ottoman near the fireplace and a modern nailhead bench at the foot of the bed.  The jewel of the design would be that gorgeous empire chandelier hanging from the ceiling and the view from the windows. 

14. Modern Luxe Bedroom

Oh how I love a moody bedroom design and this modern luxe room has tons of style and attitude. Starting with the ombre rug layered under an upholstered platform bed. The incredible paneled walls are textured in a brown paint and the remaining walls painted a dark ebony. Gorgeous black pendants hang over the nightstands and additional light sconces are installed over the bed for task reading. The tall ceilings and custom neutral drapes add the drama to this luxuriously designed bedroom.

15. California Chic Bedroom

The primary bedroom features a comfortable large bed and a nice sitting place on top of the stylish rug in front of the TV on top of the fireplace. There's a doorway leading to the balcony featuring glass doors.

 Everyone always asks what California chic design is and basically it looks similar to this laid-back stylish modern bedroom.  It features a brown plush rug under the bed area so that your feet have something soft to walk on when getting out of bed. A soft comfortable bed with layered bedding and pillows faces a wall mounted TV and fireplace with built-ins to the left. Canvas beach art is hung on the wall to bring in that California vibe and a classic white Eames lounge chair with side table so you can lounge while streaming Netflix. You get so much natural light coming in from the sliding door and the glass bulb chandelier adds ambient lighting throughout.

16. Contemporary Glam Bedroom

A primary bedroom with a luxurious bed lighted by a glamorous chandelier set on the stunning tray ceiling.

This contemporary glam bedroom is a nod to the old Hollywood Regency style with its mirrored and velvet settee, and tufted velvet headboard. Floor to ceiling custom drapes and valances add drama and height to the room, along with the painted tray ceiling and gorgeous chandelier. The luxuriously soft plush rug is layered under the bed and grounds the space. Matching nightstands and glass lamps flank the bed and complete this glamorous design.

17. Minimal Zen-Inspired Bedroom

Large primary bedroom featuring a modish fireplace and a widescreen TV on the wall. The room has access to a private balcony.

There is a zen feeling that overcomes you when you enter this minimal-inspired modern bedroom. I love the idea of laying in the platform bed all day staring out the glass doors or laying on the chaise-lounge in front of the modern fireplace watching TV.  The large brown plush rug warms the space, especially on cold mornings when you don’t want to step on that cold tile floor. I think the black and white art above the bed is perfect for in this design, and the low nightstands and built-in wall cabinets offer ample storage. I don’t think relaxing gets any better than being in this incredible zen bedroom. 

18. Traditional Coastal Bedroom

Spacious primary bedroom with its own living space with a fireplace. It also offers doorways leading to a private terrace.

This very spacious bedroom comes equip with its own living space with a gray chesterfield sofa and gorgeous carved  fireplace. The bed is a high-back tufted headboard and matching white tufted bench. Both the seating area and bed area have their own soft plush rugs that define each space. There are many windows and french doors that open onto your own private patio space. The ceilings are slightly vaulted to create additional height which keeps the room light and bright. 

19. Cottage Style Bedroom

A glamorous primary bedroom with a large bed and a fireplace along with a TV on the wall, lighted by a fabulous chandelier and is surrounded by stylish green walls.

This charming teal painted bedroom has a cozy cottage-style feel.  There are low wood beams and a lovely canopy bed that is directly across from a cozy seating area with roll-armchairs and a fireplace with inset TV.  The 8- light chandelier hangs from center of ceiling and custom gray drapes adorn the large windows. A large light patterned rug is layered under both the bed and seating area to create a warm and inviting space to sleep and relax. 

20. Transitional Chic Bedroom

This stunning and gorgeously decorated New York penthouse bedroom features large windows with an incredible view of the city and custom drapes to block out the light at night. Soft recessed lighting overhead shines on the beige cowhide rug that is layered over a large jute rug. The king size platform bed showcases a large abstract canvas that hangs above and a narrow leather stool at the foot of the bed. There is a lovely seating area across from the bed and built-in cabinets and shelving flanking both sides of the fireplace.

21. Rustic Cottage Bedroom

This cozy rustic cottage-style bedroom has a light wood bed frame and black spindle bench at the foot of the bed.  A large black and white patterned rug is layered under the bed, which warms up the space. Vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams showcase a rustic chandelier, that hangs from the center. A large stone fireplace and mounted TV are located across from the bed. You will notice a small seating area off in corner by the beautiful wood french doors with custom drapes and valence.

22. Eclectic Style Bedroom

This eclectic-styled primary bedroom has hardwood floors and a striped neutral rug layered to add warmth and texture. An ebony four poster bed is flanked by matching wood nightstands and tall mid-century style lamps. A carved antique chair sits in corner of room near the custom patterned drapes that dress the window. The mix of design styles, patterns and wood furniture creates a cozy eclectic space.

23. Transitional Chic Bedroom

This bedroom is incredibly spacious with a stone  fireplace and a widescreen TV mounted above.  A large white plush rug layered under the bed provides texture and warmth in the room. There are exposed wood beams in the tray ceiling and a gorgeous antique chandelier that hangs over the center of the lovely seating area. I love the added storage with those large white nightstands and task lighting from the lamps that flank the bed. Floor to ceiling drapes dress the french doors that lead out onto a private patio. 

24. Bold Maximalism Bedroom

The bold pink walls really set the tone,  in this elegant maximalist primary bedroom. A stunning colorful Asian screen is used as art above the acrylic four-poster bed. Multiple rugs are layered in the room for added texture, including a multi-print cowhide rug. An eclectic seating area features a red sofa, art deco light sconces and a large portrait art piece that hangs above. So many wonderful and interesting pieces to look at in this beautiful maximal room.

25. California Modern Bedroom

This modern primary bedroom just oozes California cool with the minimal furnishings and stunning city vies from those glass walls. A large gray textured rug is layered under a wood platform bed centered in the room. You’ll notice a single pendant light hangs over the bed for task lighting and minimal recessed lights in the ceiling. A woven armchair is placed in the corner by the windows so you can enjoy the amazing views from morning to night.

26. Traditional Cottage-Style Bedroom

This traditional cottage-style bedroom has a large gray textured rug that is layered under a tufted high-back bed. Beautiful wood herringbone floors and white walls create a cozy cottage vibe. Stunning burlwood console tables and turquoise lamps flank the bed and a a wood and upholstered bench placed at the foot of bed. A lovely seating area off to both sides one with a chaise lounge and the other with roll-arm chairs, a marble fireplace and antique brass mirror.
