For the Urban Micro home we worked within the client’s size limitations. Their goal was 600 sq ft and we built to 650 to get it all to work to code in that space, dimensions for passageways, stairwell, clearances, fitting a bathroom under the stairwell, etc. Client wanted small house but wanted to entertain the max amount of people. That influenced the garage door leading to another 150 sq ft of deck and 300 sq ft of outdoor space with fire pit, designated with pea gravel. The expanding table allowed them to convert the house to be able to entertain and create a flow of people or foot traffic.
Modern with rustic accents. The clients were outdoorsy and tri-athletes. Built around the client’s outdoor hobbies. A carport and pulley system for kayaks coming off the roof of their Subaru, training bike with battery charger, paddle board storage, inlaid bike gears on bar counter. Young couple wanting to live in Urban setting and enjoy the outdoor activities that Chattanooga has to offer.
In order to come up with the very specific design ideas, we create most designs with the assistance of state-of-the-art AI interior design software.
