Welcome to another collection by a fantastic contemporary designer. We’re pleased to present the Trillium by Garrison Hullinger Interior Design!
While the current homeowners of this 2014 Street of Dreams home are a young family, one of their highest priorities for the home was to ensure that it was a home that multiple generations could feel comfortable in. The family planned to grow and age in the home, and made provisions for their aging bodies.
All of the main living spaces of the home are on the ground floor, including the living room, dining room, kitchen and breakfast nook, and two primary suites.
Above is the spacious living room with an enclosed fireplace, exposed wood beams on the arched cathedral ceilings, and plenty of contemporary seating in soft, yet warm, neutrals.
The two primary suites in the home are located on the main floor. One of these suites is designed with grab bars, enough space for a wheelchair to turn around, and custom-built cabinetry that can be removed to provide easy roll-up access to the vanity.
The home’s overall design was created to cater to both (his) contemporary style and (her) sense of traditional style. The two styles blend together perfectly to great a spacious, beautiful, and comfortable home that will serve this family wonderfully for decades to come.

A view of the entire kitchen, showing the contrasting white and dark wood cabinetry and the large granite island.
The warm tone of the wood floors is an interesting mix with the dark and white cabinetry.
A dining room with a built-in white buffet and hutch and a large wooden dining table with transparent chairs.
Another dining room with a built-in bench seat with a saltwater aquarium and cabinetry built above it.
One of the two primary bedrooms with an upholstered bed frame, makeup table, and expansive windows.
One of the two primary bathrooms with custom cabinetry and a walk-in shower in beige and brown tile.
A second primary bathroom with a large soaking tub and plenty of storage space. An open archway leads into the primary bedroom.
The upstairs family room has a balcony and home bar attached. The modular coffee table sits on a fluffy faux fur rug on top of yet another, larger area rug.
The home bar area is in dark wood and dark tile. Mirrors on the left reflect light and make the space appear larger than it is.
A reading room with built in bookcases and a tall side table with plenty of space for books in progress.
A small sitting room with an enclosed fireplace and open shelving built into the walls on either side of the fireplace.
