A Complete Remodel

Noah’s breathtaking NYC penthouse underwent a complete overhaul after he purchased it, and the new renovation was several years in the making. Noah gutted and then reconfigured the penthouse, turning the upper-level primary bedroom suite into the main living area to provide guests with access to the stunning outdoor terrace. He then renovated the lower floor living room to become the main bedroom floor.

A unique floating staircase is located at the main entry gallery, which leads to the living spaces on the upper floors. The penthouse has impressive, 15-foot ceilings and breathtaking floor-to-ceiling casement windows to ensure a fabulous view of the city. In the dining room, there are jaw-dropping French oak floors and space to accommodate up to 12 people.

A pair of double French doors lead out to the beautifully landscaped terrace that encompasses 1,000 square feet and features a custom teak wood pergola and a plunge-pool area. While Trevor Noah is one of the country’s most well-recognized comedians, you can tell he was very serious when it comes to this remodel.

The walls in Trevor Noah’s NYC penthouse feature walls in a variety of textures and upholstery materials like suede leather and hard plastering for a unique contrast. A hand-rubbed cortina leather wall is featured in the primary bedroom and dressing rooms. The en suite bathroom showcases incredible views of the city and the Hudson River.

The bathroom also features gorgeous limestone floors and a steam shower. The lower floor has three bedrooms, and one is currently set up as a home theater with wool Holland & Sherry upholstered walls.
