What is art?
There are many definitions since the word is used in many ways, but when referring to visual art, it’s defined as “the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.”
And that’s what this section of our site is all about but in a more applied manner for houses. Art can be a terrific addition to any home. For example, my wife and I recently went to an open house and while the house was pretty nice, it was elevated due to the many original artworks on the wall as well as sculptures throughout. Art elevated the home and it can elevate your home.
You don’t have to spend millions on art to make your home more beautiful as this part of our site will show. A few hundred dollars is a good starting point. Enjoy.
