The newly launched Ritz-Carlton Residences, Tampa is a boutique tower that artfully blends high design, five-star service, and a wellness-forward living experience to create a first-of-its-kind condominium in the Tampa Bay area. The exclusive residential tower features 89 luxury residences and a selection of 12 townhome-style villas set to break ground by late 2021, with completion projected by early 2024. The iconic waterfront location off Bayshore Boulevard – known as Tampa’s heartbeat – serves as the primary inspiration for the renowned design teams.
In order to come up with the very specific design ideas, we create most designs with the assistance of state-of-the-art AI interior design software. Also, assume links that take you off the site are affiliate links such as links to Amazon. this means we may earn a commission if you buy something.
The tower makes a statement from afar, with internationally recognized architecture firm, Arquitectonica, creating organic, wave-like façades that flow directly into the crystalline waters of Hillsborough Bay just steps away. Interiors crafted by celebrated NYC-based design firm, Meyer Davis, serve as a love letter to the surrounding areas, with textures and finishes blending Central Florida’s historic charm with modern luxury, alongside a distinctive color palette of blues and bronze accents taking inspiration from the striking Florida Scrub-Jay.
Swiss landscape architect, Enzo Enea, rounds out the vision by adorning the 4.5-acre property with lush gardens shaded by ancient oak trees.
In line with the long-standing tradition of excellence synonymous with The Ritz-Carlton name, The Residences will include 12,000 square feet of the premier, resort-style amenity spaces unparalleled in the Tampa Bay region. Every element was carefully conceived to create an oasis of sophistication, especially evident in the sprawling outdoor spaces inclusive of various lounge areas, a regulation-sized tennis court, and expansive resort-style pool deck with private cabanas and full-service F&B options – all set amongst the backdrop of the glittering Hillsboro Bay.
Museum-quality artwork, part of developer Related Group’s DNA, will be prominently featured throughout the property’s “backyard” and on-site public park, in addition to the lobby, corridors, and amenity spaces. Exterior murals, sculptures, paintings, and site-specific works will be hand-selected by the team’s expert curators, with pieces from masters and up-and-coming talent. Additionally, with the history of the site of special interest to the Hispanic-led company, Related is rehabilitating the historic fountain that serves as the only relic from the Centro Español Hospital.
It was once the only hospital in Tampa Bay to treat Hispanic patients in the 1900s, and its fountain is now a symbol of the city’s immigrant history that will again serve as the property’s centerpiece.
Indoors, a range of amenities caters to residents’ every whim. Offerings from practical to extravagant include a state-of-the-art wellness and fitness center with separate yoga rooms, private treatment rooms for on-demand spa services, an Owners-only wine-tasting room with temperature-controlled storage, cinema-quality theater, golf, and sports simulator, and an all-ages children’s playroom. A business center with private office spaces and an on-site café addresses the work-from-home revolution.
With wellness at the forefront from development to operations, the building will feature a state-of-the-art purification system and touchless entry among other benefits. Upon completion, it will boast WELL Institute’s “WELL Health-Safety Rating,” a leading evidence-based rating for all new and existing buildings.
