Welcome to our gallery featuring 25 elegant kitchens without windows.
Windows are an ancient concept, having been discovered even in early wall paintings in Egypt.
Though windows are a great natural and architectural way to add light into a room, they aren’t the only way. There are many different options for achieving the same brightness and feeling without windows.
Technology has taken us so far. We’ve created a lot of different things to be used in the home. These kitchens without windows are great examples of the march of progress. We no longer need to rely on windows for air and light.
Each kitchen has its own artificial lighting that accents the beauty in the decor. The structure revolves around the communal area, rather than the limitations windows create.
The kitchen in the photo above was designed by JM Architecture, and provides an example of the modern and minimalist design immensely popular today.
Despite the fact that this kitchen does not have any windows, it is still open and well lit. You can see more of this home here.
If you’re not big into light structures hanging around your kitchen, take note of how well hidden JM Architecture has made the lights in their space.
The light peeks out from under cabinets. The glossy design takes the minimal light and illuminates the whole room with a soft amber glow.
