A gorgeous traditional family home with some contemporary elements, feels comfortably familiar but exudes progressive style. Exterior surface is a mix of two different stones from Tennessee, Apple Orchard and Tennessee Field.
Apple Orchard has peach and gold tones with some brown, while Tennessee Field comprises the gray tones. Mahogany doors create an inviting air as one approaches.
The mostly traditional exterior obscures the more contemporary interior, leading to surprise and delight upon entering the home. Bright tones, painstaking detail, and innovative deployment of traditional materials are defining characteristics of the home.
Look for exposed beams matching built-in shelving and cabinetry. Look for artfully carved ceiling details. Look for a playful warmth emanating from the interplay of textures and furniture arrangements. Most of all, look for a rich sense of timeless beauty. The home fits perfectly in its traditional neighborhood without overtly announcing its inner contemporary design.

The sophisticated, metropolitan family room connects the owners to their backyard, letting in lots of light from two directions. The sunlit space holds a symmetrical array of seating before large fireplace wall, next to the patio at right.
Luxurious sitting room features four matching striped, dark wood frame chairs orbiting around a cushion topped ottoman coffee table. White fireplace stands at center, flanked by a pair of minimalist tables below wall mirrors.
The bright kitchen is loaded with white cabinets and thoughtful details, including granite countertops all around. Island features dining space courtesy of dark stained wood bench, while stainless appliances add touch of contrast.

Looking inward from the patio, we see the fearless blending of indoor and outdoor space, with a full dining set and wicker conversation furniture standing next to stone fireplace and grilling area.
