IKEA kitchens are popular because they can look good and are very budget friendly. This is particularly true for smaller kitchen spaces. IKEA kitchens are ideal for small kitchens. Here’s a list of my ten favorite small IKEA kitchen designs.
#10: Old Nippon Kitchen
This kitchen harkens back to the time of shogun age. The wooden table along with the wooden cabinets and fixtures are typical of the Japanese culture. The minimalist design of the room, translates into low clutter is inspired from the Asian culture.
#9: Rainbow Bright Kitchen
At close glance, you will realize that the fixtures, furniture and floor of this kitchen are completely white — but that’s not the first impression you get when you walk into this vibrant room.
The center of attention is the rainbow colored rug beneath the table as well as the mango yellow walls. This seems like a fun place for the kiddies.
#8: Brick Backsplash Kitchen
The predominant colors in this room are the golden tones of the floor and the concrete colors of the lamp, fixtures and side wall.
But the clean and austere lines of the room are interrupted by the bright red brick-styled backsplash. A small and very charming kitchen with a few Japanese elements mixed in between.
#7: Quaint Country Kitchen
This quaint country-styled kitchen is decorated with a mix of prints. The drapes have a beautiful floral pattern while the floor rug is striped with red and blue shades. A pale wooden table with a vase of cream roses gives this kitchen a rustic charm.
#6: Print and Pattern Kitchen
Like the kitchen before this one, this room has a lot going on with the prints and pattern all over the kitchen. The drapes have a fun floral print while the floor has a unique, colorful wavy pattern.
The backsplash is made of rectangular white tiles. Overall, the look is very bohemian and picturesque.
#5: Bohemian Affair
With this checker-board floor and deep crimson Turkish rug, this kitchen is very distinctive from other types of styles.
The predominantly white fixtures and furniture prevent the room from looking too cluttered and minimize the effect of the heavy floor patterns. The golden glow from the period-style lamp over the table gives the room a soft glow.
#4: Bamboo & Bonsai Kitchen
Like most Japanese-styled places, this kitchen also gives you the impression of entering a bamboo forest. The pale golden wooden table, walls and countertop are inspired by nature and so are the bowls of plants on the table.
#3: Nature Lover Kitchen
The floor and countertops of this kitchen are made of warm-toned wood. What’s more, the kitchen is bedecked with tiny pots of green plants, filling the place with positive energy. Spot light fixtures on the ceiling fill the room with a warm, sunny glow.
#2: Colorpop Kitchen
This fun-looking kitchen is so bright and airy, thanks to a window covered by flowing drapes. The backsplash is decorated by a print of colorful townhouses, which lends a splash of color to the white-themed kitchen. This seems to be the perfect place for kids to learn cooking.
#1: Black Elegance Kitchen
The black cabinetry unit with granite counter top takes center stage in this kitchen. Although the floor and walls of the kitchen have a pale ivory white color, the black fixture with its jet black tiled backsplash lends an air of elegance because of its dark color.
Japanese, contemporary-modern or eclectic, we have every kitchen style presented here. Which one works best for you?
