Every room and space in a tiny house must be meticulously planned. After all, you only have 200 sq. ft. to 500 sq. ft. to work with. While the kitchen is necessary, how much space you devote to it depends on your needs.
Some tiny houses, as you’ll see below, build out relatively sizable kitchens while other designs have tiny kitchens (that is tiny for a tiny home). As part of our extensive tiny house ideas collectionhouse ideas, we were able to put together this collection of clever tiny house kitchen ideas below.
Long single wall tiny house kitchen with white tile backsplash to the ceiling. The modern cabinets are in gray with stainless steel appliances. The fridge is large for a tiny home. Open-faced shelving offers additional storage above the cabinets. One other notable touch is the large picture window above the sink which brings in plenty of light into the kitchen area and the main living space.
I love this galley layout tiny house kitchen. There is so much detail. Check out the crate style shelving racks above the fridge. The wall is protected with white subway tile which matches the white cabinetry. You can’t miss the large stainless steel sink (bigger than most houses). The black countertops blend really nicely in the overall design as well as the black surface range.Check out the distressed wood accent wall on the end of the kitchen. It actually looks great with the white subway tile which is tied in with the distressed window frame. Stainless steel shelves span the entire length of the kitchen up above.

The above is one of my favorite tiny house kitchen designs. You don’t give up any kitchen convenience – it has a huge sink, floor-to-ceiling refrigerator. In addition to offering all the modern-day conveniences and functionality, it’s beautiful with white cabinets and black countertops.
Notice the white subway tile backsplash as well. As for storage, there’s plenty of upper shelves in addition to the two banks of lower cabinets.
3. Black and white kitchen with farmhouse sink
Check out that fabulous farmhouse sink in this tiny house kitchen. I also love the dark and white contrast with light wood flooring. Who knew that a tiny home kitchen could look so great. Also, check ou the living room at the end – it’s really cool.
Here’s an example of a very small kitchen in a small tiny house. The fridge is tiny but fits well in the small cabinet area.
5. Single wall with double-sink and range
This is a minimalist tiny house with all the open space. The kitchen is a simple affair with a double sink and range.
6. Tiny house kitchen with an island
While you can’t see the entire kitchen here, I include it because it’s a rare example of a tiny house kitchen with an island.
7. Stunning slab of wood for countertop
What’s not to like about this kitchen. Look at the natural slab of wood used for a countertop for starters. The backsplash is also very cool which is set against a wood wall.

9. Tiny l-shaped kitchen under the stairs
While simple, I love this minimalist design and clever placement of the l-shaped kitchen under the stairs. The dark cabinets look great against the light natural wood walls.
10. Sizable tiny home kitchen with round sink
This kitchen is fairly long with decent counterspace, a round sink, open shelving and a half-decently sized refrigerator.

11. Rustic kitchen in a nook space
Here’s a kitchen in its own little room inside a tiny house on wheels. It sure is cute with miniature everything. There are two windows which add plenty of light. I think you could definitely prepare decent meals in there – but it’s probably best to cook solo. Too many cooks in the kitchen as they say – applies here for sure.

12. Large U-shaped tiny house kitchen
This is one of the biggest tiny house kitchens. It’s a large u-shaped and is nearly as big as kitchens in regular homes. Yes, this is a tiny house on wheels – but they decided to allocate a decent amount of space to the kitchen. There’s loads of counterspace to work on as well as a full oven and range.
Here’s a galley kitchen with one side situated under the stairs to the tiny house loft. This is a decently sized kitchen that will do the job. It also looks good.I love the dark wood countertops against the white cabinetry and white walls/ceiling. The large window above the sink is also a great feature because it can get dark in some tiny homes.
It doesn’t get smaller than this kitchen which is probably not even 2 feet wide. You get a sink and a small range plus some cabinetry up and down. It sure looks nice – quality wood used and nicely designed and crafted.
This is a larger-than-normal small house kitchen. It has a full-blown island and beautiful cabinetry throughout. The island even features stools. This example is in a small container home.
Here’s a kitchen in a prefab tiny house. The kitchen has everything you need although the fridge is small… the space warrants a larger fridge. All the windows and open concept space is fantastic though.
18. L-shape kitchen with island in small 675 sq. ft. house
This kitchen could be found in a traditional 2,000 sq. ft. house but it’s in a small 675 sq. ft. house. It’s a large l-shape layout with sizable island. I love the white cabinetry, stainless steel appliances (full size) and the earth-tone backsplash. The loft area looks down onto this beautiful kitchen.
Here’s a gorgeous mid-tone wood u-shaped kitchen in a tiny house on wheels. The kitchen is almost entirely under the loft area so watch your head. It includes recessed lighting, a large sink, full fridge and range.
Here’s a tiny house kitchen with loads of storage including a full pantry cabinet. Storage is a premium in any small living space so I’m sure this tiny house kitchen design will appeal to many people for that reason alone. I’m not wild about the countertop color, but otherwise, I like this kitchen.
21. Stunning gray and white kitchen in a cozy tiny house
Tiny house with light gray cabinets, white countertops that includes a white oven and range as well as a large white farmhouse sink. There’s a large picture window above the sink as well as a skylight above the kitchen placed in the cathedral ceiling.

24. White tiny house kitchen with light wood countertops
Here’s a large white kitchen in a tiny house with a cathedral ceiling and plenty of open-faced shelving above lower cabinets. I like how it has plenty of space to move around in – which is the result of being built on the end instead of along the side of the tiny house.
Here’s a spin on kitchen location in a tiny house. This particular model designed and built by Incredible Tiny Homes places a sizable U-shaped kitchen in one of the loft areas.
26. Gray and Wood Tiny House Kitchen
