Details
This rustic cottage features a simple, time-tested exterior with a metal roof, wood siding, and a wide covered front porch that creates a clear sense of arrival. The design feels sturdy and understated, with outdoor spaces wrapped around the home to extend everyday living without adding complexity.
The main level is centered around a vaulted great room that serves as the primary gathering space. It connects directly to the kitchen and dining area, allowing these spaces to work together while still feeling defined. The kitchen includes ample counter space and storage, with a clear connection to both a grilling porch and an uncovered deck, making indoor and outdoor use easy and natural.
The primary bedroom is located on the main level and positioned away from shared living areas. It includes a private bathroom and walk-in closet, along with nearby access to the laundry and utility spaces. This layout keeps daily routines efficient while maintaining privacy.
The upper level provides additional sleeping space and flexibility. A sleeping loft overlooks the great room below, creating a connection between levels without closing off the space. A second bedroom and full bathroom are also located on this level, along with storage areas that are tucked out of the way.
