About Masquespacio
Masquespacio is an award-winning creative consultancy created in 2010 by Ana Milena Hernández Palacios and Christophe Penasse.
Combining the 2 disciplines of their founders, interior design and marketing, the Spanish design agency creates branding and interior projects through a unique approach that results in fresh and innova-tive concepts rewarded with a continued international recognition by media specialized in design, fashion and lifestyle trends.
They have worked on projects in several countries like Norway, Saudi Arabia, USA, France, Portugal, Germany, Colombia, Cambodia and Spain.
Actually, they are working on different projects in Spain, Saudi Ara-bia, USA, Germany, Qatar, Italy, France and Austria.
Masquespacio presents the first project it designed for Lynk & Co in Barcelona.
The project that had the aim to design the mobility brand’s first club in Spain starts from Lynk & Co’s philosophy to not pretend to be a conventional brand, but offers itself as an option for the new genera-tions in search of a sustainable lifestyle fill of experiences that get away from the standard.
The Barcelona Club is a unique experience that not only reinvents mobility, but also provides a creative and sustainable meeting place. Undoubtedly, the best meeting point for anyone who is willing to ex-plore a new concept of mobility where the experience comes before everything else.
Thus, hereby Masquespacio designed the club situated in Paseo de Gracia, like if it were a world of utopias. This way the Spanish design studio searched to connect the different spaces with the Barcelona known for its creativity and distinguished all around the world for being a hub of artistic disciplines like art, design and music.
First, it has been the main goal to respect the interior architecture of the space with its brutalist style full of imperfections that creates the perfect connection point with the style applied in other Lynk & Co clubs.
To these afterwards different spaces have been added, that each represent their own use, inspired by a theme related to creativity like architecture, movies and music amongst others.
Just like that, imme-diately at the entrance you can see a gigantic castle with a reflecting green color that contains the fitting rooms with a distorted effect that shows clearly that in the new Lynk & Co in Barcelona, nothing is tra-ditional.
The car from its sides is situated in a whale form made of 3D, while in the bathrooms you find a show of lights and sounds that will remind you to your favorite childhood movie.
In the space above you can find exposition zones with sustainable ob-jects Lynk & Co selected, together with unexpected areas for co-working like the swimming pool that is behind an old safe door that was in the space before.
In summary, the new Lynk & Co in Barcelona is a versatile place, able to adapt to any event, with a colorful and at the same time sophisticat-ed design, full of utopias to be discovered. Lynk & Co has come up with the perfect alternative to spending the morning negotiating at the dealership: clubbing.
