Who is Lil Wayne?
Given the name Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. when born in 1982, Lil Wayne has been better known by his stage name since he signed onto Cash Money Records in 1994 at the age of 12. He first made it to the top of the charts when featured on a song by Juvenile in the twilight of the 20th century. In 2005, he founded his own record label, Young Money Entertainment, whose most prominent stars are himself and Nicki Minaj.
