About Studio
Founded in 2008, Mutabile develops architectural projects and manages project works of its own. The projects cover different scales and typologies, from small interior renovations to large developments with an urban scale.
For Mutabile, architecture is a way to raise awareness, which is why we are concerned with the entry and path of natural light into spaces, sounds, and winds and the sensations that different spatial conformations can provide.
Language, materials, and local techniques are investigated and rethought, especially from the inside out. That is, the formal configuration of the architecture lends itself to the experience of feeling good in the created space.
Country house located on the edge of Lake Furnas. The house was implanted in a way that provides a view of the lake in all rooms and environments. Visual integration between social spaces and privacy in the intimate area guided all solutions. The circulation areas are always demarcated by zenith lighting.
The house was sectored into 3 wings: social area, family room sector, and guest sector.
The social area is accessed by a ramp, has a full view of Lake Furnas, and features an indoor pool with swinging gates in a metal and glass structure that integrates the living room with cumaru wooden deck, terrace, and outdoor areas, barbecue, circulation with zenith lighting in pergola with a metallic structure.
Rough slab stone walls demarcate the winter garden, which has a pergola made of cumaru wood and glass. These separate this area from the TV room. The social area has two support toilets. The kitchen is also completely integrated with the dining room and can also be closed with integrated sliding ipê shutters.
The pool extends to the external area, with an infinite bottom facing the lake.
The six suites are divided into two three-bedroom wings. Both have the same characteristics, with a closed back corridor with rough flagstone walls and overhead lighting. Circulation can also be done through the front of the house, through the cumaru wooden deck.
