This gorgeous Nantucket Hollywood Hills home was built in 1936. Bette Midler purchased the stylish home in 1983. She owned the home from 1983 through 1987. Ms. Midler was very busy during this time. She was re-focusing on her singing and acting career. She also started her production company during that time. She went on to star in several popular movies including “Beaches”, “The Rose” and “The First Wives Club”, not to mention singing the award-winning song “Wind Beneath My Wings.”
George Lucas, the founder of Lucasfilm and the creator of Star Wars owned the home from 2008 to 2010. He sold the home when he decided to spend more time at one of his other residences in Marin County, California, Skywalker Ranch.
