From Benjamin Franklin’s fireplace to the fireplaces of today, we have come a long way. From metal mantles all the way to vinyl, we have developed patterns and styles we never thought possible. The television came much later than the fireplace.
The first electronic television wasn’t around until 1927! There is a pretty good chance you have more televisions in your house than fireplaces. Many homes today do not have a fireplace, but they do have a television.
