Modern bathrooms have very little in the way of stylistic restrictions. Many touchstones of the room have remained popular for decades and show no signs of stopping. Bright hues, tile surfaces, richly detailed vanities, and other details can be found throughout traditional and modern examples.
The unifying element in this collection is, of course, the use of rich wood as a standout feature. Vanities range from minimalist “floating” rectangles in natural wood, to lavish, stained creations encompassing cabinetry, mirrors, and entire walls in some occasions.
Some bold bathrooms flaunt a natural hardwood floor in lieu of the traditional tile. Some even feature wood paneled walls. In each example here, we see the use of wood as a either a contrasting or unifying component of the room.
