The single-family home in Crailsheim, Baden-Württemberg, converted in 2003 was Michael Ragaller’s first realized project. In order to accommodate the desired spatial program, the cross-section of the private residence was cleverly pushed outwards as an extension of the existing building.
In this way, a bright living area with a generous atrium was created in the new extension. In addition, two children’s rooms on the upper floor were illuminated through new dormer openings. From the workplaces situated there, one has a beautiful view of the garden.
