Details
This contemporary barndominium features a bold, clean-lined exterior with a steep gabled form and a dramatic wall of glass that defines the main living space. The modern barn-inspired structure keeps a simple footprint while creating strong visual presence through its vertical emphasis and expansive glazing. Attached volumes extend from the main form to house additional living space and the garage, maintaining a cohesive, purposeful design.
The main level is organized around a central great room with a two-story ceiling that anchors the home and connects directly to the dining area and kitchen. The kitchen sits at the heart of the layout with a large island, walk-in pantry, and clear sightlines across the main living spaces. An office and small dinette area are positioned near the front entry, offering flexible everyday use.
The primary bedroom is privately located on one side of the home with a dedicated bath and ample closet storage. Two additional bedrooms are grouped nearby and share a centrally located bathroom. A mudroom with built-in storage connects the living areas to the garage, keeping daily traffic organized and contained.
The upper level expands the living space with a loft that overlooks the great room below, maintaining a strong connection to the open core of the home. Two additional bedrooms are located on this level with a shared bathroom, creating a defined secondary sleeping zone. Additional loft space and mechanical storage provide flexibility for future needs while preserving the open-to-below experience that defines the home’s interior layout.
