This gallery features Drury Design’s “Airy Modern Kitchen” (see 31 other custom kitchens by Drury Design here).
The cabinetry and surfaces reflect a modern transitional design, allowing for a timeless yet comfortable feel in a traditional home. The blended design is loaded with the latest modern appliances and cabinetry conveniences.
Drury created a boldly harmonious effect by combining ash grey inset cabinets with contemporary frameless island cabinets, and a rift cut oak snack bar with a raised waterfall top.
Quartzite counters wrap to the floor, framing the cook top cabinetry, while a full height matching tile backsplash frames the metal hood. Island countertop is comprised of Cambria solid surface quartz in New Quay. Polished nickel drawer fronts flank the cooking area.
The integrated Sub-Zero wine cooler is built in an alcove flanked by two display cabinets with glass front doors. The large 36 inch dish drawer holds up to nine place settings and is completely concealed within the island.
Cabinets feature whisper close drawers with birch veneer interiors. All of the drawers were fitted with interior lighting, activated when opened. The miracle corner Kesseböhmer accessory has four interior shelves that all slide out completely for full corner access.
Looking over the island edge, we see the smoke colored porcelain floor tiles laid in a staggered pattern for depth, with the polished nickel drawer fronts flanking the cooking space.

Integrated cooler drawers hang below the Sub Zero wine cooler.
The fully concealed, extra large dish drawer sits within the island.
Here’s a look at the “miracle corner” drawers, swiveling out for full access.
