Gallery featuring images of the sleek and eccentric 50 Shades of Grey home. The name comes from the glossy modern style, not the famous book!
Welcome to our gallery featuring the immaculate 50 Shades of Grey home by ARS-IDEA Interior and Architectural Design.
This uniquely modern, undeniably striking interior design is an utterly immersive experience from end to end.
The combination of glossy surfaces, coherent colors, and contemporary convenience equals a truly standout home.
This incredibly cohesive interior design plan was the brainchild of the highly experienced and passionate design team at ARS-IDEA. This group has completed over 150 unique projects in the past decade, and has built a reputation for challenging, expressive design work.
For each project, the team collaborates directly with the client, resulting in a home that reflects its owners with precise execution, top quality, and passion to spare.
In this case, a narrow color palette of whites and greys was used to cohere a wild variety of contemporary design hallmarks, from large format tile flooring to minimalist furniture to innovative lighting solutions.
The resolutely modern space is flush with textural and tonal details, including glossy hardware-less cabinetry, completely recessed lighting, sharply defined edges, and high contrast layouts.
The overall look of the space takes minimalism to an extreme, with luxury and convenience arising from sleek, sharp, and smooth surfaces everywhere.
Within the narrow color palette, a stunning variety of textures appears, including brick, tile, metal, glass, and more, all folded and layered in sharply defined shapes.
This ultra-cohesive home interior is a stunning work of art, as well as a comfortable, convenient space to live.
The contemporary open plan design makes for cozy functional crossover. Here we see the white dining room table meeting in the same space as the living room sofa and fireplace.
The slate grey large format tile flooring connects the disparate elements of the interior, as we see pulling back from the living room area into the dining space. To the left, we see the entry door next to one of many art pieces on the wall.
The dining area bridges the gap between the living room and the sleek, minimalist kitchen. At right, one of many smooth-surfaced storage tables appears in the open entry area.
Here we see the dining area from within the kitchen. Bold white glossy countertops meet slate grey in this brightly minimalist space. On both sides, sleek grey cabinetry fills the periphery.
Within the kitchen, one of a handful of colorful bursts appears, courtesy of bright orange floating cabinets. The dark quartz countertops at the right offer a blush of contrast to the kitchen.
With modern appliances tucked into the sleek, mostly hardware-less cabinetry, the entire kitchen is a work of minimalist art. Subtle lighting comes courtesy of recessed strips below cupboards.
The kitchen countertop extends to this floating island component, offering a space for in-kitchen dining. Thin cables support the structure unobtrusively.
Next to the main entry door, we see the open design steel staircase, leading to the private areas of the home. Light brick accents the interior here with a dash of rich texture.
At the top of the stairs, we see marble flooring and more white brick, all glowing under natural light through large windows at right.
This bedroom accents its bold white modernism with a traditionally styled, glossy chrome chandelier. White walls and storage contrasts deeply with dark grey bedding, drapes, and flooring.
This bedroom features a built-in writing desk, as well as plentiful storage crafted into a sleek, subtle component against the wall.
This upper floor lounge area features some of the most striking contrast in the home, with bold white sectional, yellow accents, and deep toned walls over a white marble floor.
The master bedroom features black brick walls in contrast to the white marble flooring, with a deep blue bed set for color and contrast.
Floating entertainment storage hangs on the wall next to a cozy built-in desk and home office corner. Dark tiles frame the bed area at right.
The master bath is awash in rich grey tile from floor to ceiling, with unique builtin shelving and a large sunken soaking tub.
The bathroom also features a sleek glass enclosed walk-in shower, as well as sets of glossy white shelving beneath the floating vanity.
