Gallery featuring pictures of approachable luxury in Oxford Lane home design, showcasing a richly styled home in the suburbs of Chicago.
Welcome to our gallery featuring the Oxford Lane home by Miller+Miller Real Estate.
This outstanding home design is a custom built estate built just outside of Chicago.
The luxurious trappings of its design have been tempered with a warm, approachable style.
Speaking of approach, we enter the residence via circular brick driveway and a mahogany arched front entry door. This leads to a two story foyer area wrapped by a customer curved wood staircase.
Throughout the interior, a strong sense of old world charm and classic estate style permeates. Custom crown molding, hardwood flooring, transom windows, and many more elements all point to an overwhelming attention to detail in the design.
The dining room features an inlaid hardwood center with carpeted border and extensive wood millwork throughout, including large crown moldings and wainscoting. Attached, the butler pantry and half bath possesses elegant vanities with granite counter tops and hardwood flooring.
The kitchen is a clear focal point of the design, with three islands, exquisite chandeliers, and an expansive sense of space. Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a hidden walk-in pantry round out the standout features.
Private bedroom areas of the home are fleshed out just as elaborately, with rich carpeted flooring, dual tray ceilings, walk-in closets, and a host of other small but important luxuries.
The home is absolutely flush with options for activities, including a full gym, game room, secondary family room, and an indoor pool. The pool area features a bbq grilling area, hot tub, and spa.
This space is attached to the lower level rec room, bar, media room, and home fitness area. Luxury features in this resort-style part of the home include a steam shower with granite topped vanity and a combination bedroom-office area with cherry wood.
The range of amenities for this extraordinary home includes a suite of smart home technology options, including built-in audiovisual zones for various segments of the home, running through a distributed system that is controlled via smartphone, tablet, or in-wall touch screens. This includes integrated lighting control, a built-in network, surveillance, and phone system.
The wealth of luxurious features in this home is folded neatly into a warm and welcoming sense of style.

The home gym is one of the most well-equipped we’ve ever seen, outfitted like a professional gym. With direct patio access and a vast open floor plan, it’s a welcoming space within the home.
Near the gym is a true, full-sized spa right in the home. This is one of the most extreme examples of resort-style amenities in this house.

This secondary living room space is warpped in a more rustic-tinted elegance, with rich bulging leather furniture, a stone warpped fireplace, and a broad set of large windows that allow for plenty of natural light.
The master bedroom is a sprawling affair, with space to roam, relax, and of course, sleep. Here we see more ornate wood furniture nad massive floor to ceiling windows.
Similarly, the master bath is awash in rich materials, from ornate wood and marble vanity to the marble flooring. A chandelier hangs in this room, illuminating every curve and fold of the molding and window frames.
In this relatively cozy, compact family room, we see another large dominant fireplace along with a set of rich leather furniture. Sliding glass doors lead directly to the upper level patio.
Moving back outside, we see the large pool house wrapped in red brick, with the vast patio on top. The terraced garden wrapping this area leaves below-ground level space for relaxing and outdoor enjoyment.
To the side of the main set of buildings, we see a half-size soccer field, one of many athletic amenitites that aren’t normally found with even the largest of homes.
Adjacent to the basketball court, there’s a small guest house with even more opportunities for entertaining friends and family.
