Welcome to our gallery featuring the Lubelso-Camberwell Custom Home by Canny.
This expansive open plan home conjures loads of style out of the most simple of elements.
With a simple color palette and unfussy design sense, it manages to feel luxurious with a minimalist touch.
Seeing the home from the outside street view, pictured above, it appears as a simple white box with dark wood detailing. Louvers on the upper floor help conceal a broadly open design while allowing for views of the outdoors.
Inside, the home is an entirely new story. The expansive, open plan layout makes for a feeling of interconnectedness.
This holistic interior approach means that the handful of intricately detailed elements truly stand out, united within the same backdrop.
From the back side, the interior is revealed through a full height set of expansive glass panels like a doll house in real life. This makes for an exceptionally bright and open interior.
The full height glazing also helps connect the indoors to the outside, with large sliding panels that blur the line between inside and outdoors.
In one particularly neat design twist, the basement is accessed by a lift from the main floor, rather than traditional stairs. This saves space and helps accommodate people of different mobilities.
The bold white surroundings and sleek furniture selections make this modern styled home truly refreshing and poignant.
Here’s a look at the home from the backyard, where the plush lawn meets a light concrete patio, leading directly into the interior. A set of dining furniture and cooking counter out here make for a comfortable patio space.
With a pair of large sliding glass panels connecting the patio to the interior, this space feels like a meetup between two major parts of the home. From here we can see clear across the interior.
The main portion of the home interior is this large open plan space, mixing social, dining, and kitchen functions. To the righ twe see the formal living room, and to the left a cozier relaxing space.
The living room is defined by a pair of matching grey contemporary sofas, centered on a large rustic wood coffee table and zebra stripe rug. The rich hardwood flooring, in a lighter shade, meshes with the white walls.
The smaller relaxing space enjoys a secondary fireplace, flanked by black painted wood cabinetry. The subtle color palette makes for a truly cohesive sense of style.
Moving across the vast open space room, we see how the matching sets of varying furniture completes the look. To the right, the massive kitchen island stands out monolithically.
The dining and kitchen areas are defined by the high contrast between white walls and dark elements. The large island includes a built-in sink, plenty of countertop space, and an area for dining on bar stools.
The kitchen features floor to ceiling white cabinetry with sleek surfaces, blending into the walls for a stealthy look.
The master bedroom, on the upper level, enjoys private balcony access from a room wrapped in stark black and whites. The balcony gets privacy from public view thanks to the full height louvered panels.
The ultra-sleek bathroom is wrapped floor to ceiling in large format grey tiles, matching the stone countertop on the floating white vanity. Frameless mirror and walk-in shower complete the cohesive look.
Approaching via the front walk, the home appears to be a simple white box floating above the landscape.
