Welcome to our featured home, the “American Spirit” home in Oregon by Garrison Hullinger Interior Design.
The homeowners, now empty-nesters, were ready to build a home made for entertaining, so Garrison Hullinger designed this gorgeous home with extra emphasis on entertaining guests in a way where the owners could play host and still be involved with the party.
This was accomplished by creating a seamless transition from the exterior of the home to the indoor living space, via a series of folding glass doors.
The kitchen, with the main cooking area shown above, has several passthroughs and archways to other sections of the home so that the owners can interact with their guests while cooking or grabbing extra refreshments.
The home also has a home bar in the recreation room, which is fully stocked with a sink, ice maker, dishwasher, wine cooler, and even has a secret door to a hidden wine room. The main floor has breathtaking views of Mt. Hood for the homeowner’s guests to enjoy.
We hope you’ll enjoy this fantastic home!
The entryway to the home is in both hardwood and tile. The staircase has two tight flights of stairs up to the upper level. The sidelights and transoms of the front door give it the illusion of being much larger than it is.
