The landscaping is hardy and minimal, for easy care. A series of small pines are the largest bit of landscaping. The dusky blue siding on the hope is matched with a darker, richer blue trim.

The stone walkway leading up to the front door has a small gravel section in the center, with a stone sculpture in the middle. There are fewer windows on the front of the home for privacy reasons than there are on the back. The rear of the home also has fantastic views of the prairie.

The spacious kitchen has a two-tier island. The lower tier is valuable workspace, while the upper tier is an eat-in bar. The peninsula at the end of the L-shaped kitchen is also another eat-in bar. The seamless, expansive windows along the back wall of the kitchen let in lots of natural light.

The high ceilings are hardwood, while the floors are a very light tile. A small, simple light fixture hangs from the high ceiling above the modestly sized dining set. Traditional-style red rugs add a bit of warmth to the room. In the corner, a built in curio cabinet is in light wood.

The glass doors lead out to the rear of the home, where there is a small patio and acres of open space.
