Today we feature the exquisite Fitzrovia apartment, designed by Oliver Burns.
A bold, contemporary design with a masculine edge, softened by feminine accents – so goes the concept behind this two bedroom pied-à-terre in Regent’s Park. With lighting playing a key component, a cool, neutral palette serves as the perfect foil for glamorous detail.
In the entrance hall, a gold gilt ceiling and oversized chandelier delivers an immediate sense of grandeur. Living room area houses a contemporary chandelier of three interlocking crystal rings, creating a striking focal point above the soft grey leather sofa. Lacquered wood cabinetry at either end of the room unifies the space, flowing seamlessly into the airy open-plan kitchen.
The kitchen features a relaxed dining area with a central marble topped island that extends to an integrated dining table with high stools. Sleek, highly polished surfaces contrast with tactile, luxurious fabrics such as a Fendi rug and voluminous sheers, adding warmth and depth.
The guest bedroom combines contemporary design with hints of old-fashioned femininity, enhanced by the discreet flock wallpaper, Swarovski crystals, and highlights of old rose. A more masculine feel permeates the master bedroom, with dark, silvery hues and cool geometric designs. Fendi bedside tables clad in leather add a touch of organic opulence. The home successfully combines luxury with sleek and sensuous design.
Five jewel-like crystal pendant lights float above the central kitchen island, illuminating the sleek Cararra marble countertop. Appliances sit within sleek polished wood panels at rear.
Using methods gleaned from ancient Egyptian times, artisans hand applied fragile layers of gold leaf to the window arches, imparting a glowing sheen and reflecting shimmering light.
Handmade in Italy, an oversized chandelier adorned with rows of gold chains and crystal pendants sets a bold, opulent tone for the rest of the apartment, right in the entryway.
Dark silvery hues and geometric prints create a bold contemporary design with a masculine edge in the master bedroom. More of the rich wood paneling surrounds the wall.
Carefully selected leather Fendi bedside tables contrast with the silk and velvety fabrics of the bed linen, providing a clever interplay of textures in the luxurious bedroom.
A bespoke dressing table in high gloss veneer with velvet lined storage is poised on delicate chrome legs, aiming for an air of feminine elegance.
Sumptuous tonal fabrics contrast and accentuate the contemporary stud detailing on this Lee Broom footstool beside the balcony entrance.
This light, feminine bedroom is enhanced by a soft colour palette and a discreet flock wallpaper with Swarovski elements that reflects light throughout the room.
