Shure Design Studio’s latest interior design project focused on this 1920’s Spanish bungalow situated in the vibrant neighborhood of Park Hills Heights/West Adams, Los Angeles. The primary goal was to create a space that exudes comfort, warmth, and modernity while embodying the sunny and laidback attitude of Los Angeles.

One standout feature was the custom-designed banquette in the dining area. Every detail, from the carefully crafted shape of the back cushions to the color of the leather straps and the artful mounting hardware on the wall, was thoughtfully curated and sourced, ensuring that the tiny dining space became an extraordinary and inviting nook for the homeowners and their guests.

The Primary Bedroom showcased another remarkable design achievement, with an enchanting combination of captivating wallpaper and a stylish bed frame. The room exuded an air of excitement and joy. The team’s careful selection of distinctive lighting fixtures and hardware served as the “jewelry of the home.”

The kitchen presented its own unique challenge. Shure Design Studio ingeniously crafted a custom dining nook, optimizing seating capacity while ensuring the seamless flow of movement between the kitchen and the backyard. The team also undertook the task of designing a custom island to serve as a focal point for the kitchen, fulfilling the client’s need for additional storage and counter space.

The home became an extraordinary testament to Shure Design Studio’s talent for capturing the essence of Los Angeles while preserving the classic allure of a 1920’s Spanish bungalow. The design not only succeeded in creating a stunning and functional interior, but also managed to curate a space that felt uniquely personal and welcoming to the homeowners.
