With this gallery we proudly display the Bromptons home, a luxurious interior design creation by Roselind Wilson Design.
This project resides in London, England, and was completed in 2014. Roselind Wilson Design was appointed to craft the interior architecture, design, and project manage the 2209 square foot, three-bedroom, three-bathroom duplex apartment on the second and third floors of The Bromptons building.
Colored with an evolving, unified palette throughout, the richly detailed architecture floats in neutral tones intercut with swaths of subtle coloring from floor to ceiling.
Rich blues, golds, and salmon hues enliven the bespoke interior, while nuanced textural work and a variety of surface materials add a depth of visual interest.
The overall style is a luxurious mixture of traditional and contemporary elements, evoking a truly up to date take on old fashioned opulence.
Living room walls light up with a rich blue tone, featuring surface details like white cladding rectangles making room for gilded framed paintings. An intricately patterned area rug supports an array of furniture in neutral tones below a carved detail white ceiling.
The room is packed with detail, including this freeform shaped mirror with gold leaf frame, armless accent chairs in brown, and a marble topped, black metal coffee table. Wall sconces and painting frames match the gold tones that pop against the soft blue walls.
Moving down the hallway with white marble flooring, we see the opulence expanding, with ornate black marble topped table holding a statue flanked by a pair of bronze lamps. White molding on beige walls frames a front door in black with silver hardware.
The hall contains this carved wood frame sofa with floral cushioning below a pair of silver framed paintings, flanked by mirror backed sconces.
A second living area with white marble fireplace houses this lavish dining space, with white detailed area rug over light hardwood flooring. Dark toned chandelier hangs over the circular dining table before a massive full height window.
The white table is surrounded by soft blue and white upholstered Parson chairs, while a dining room cabinet framed in black holds a pair of porcelain lamps flanking a copper colored statue head.
The sleek, minimalist kitchen contains tall off-white cabinetry and stainless steel appliances, contrasting with dark marble backsplash. A pair of chairs matching the dining set wrapps a small circular wood table at left.
The sleek white countertops are complemented by minimalist cabinetry over the large format tile flooring of the kitchen.
A small office in the home continues the sleekly minimalist vibe, with cushioned window cove seating and grey and white striped carpeting below white walls. A small cutout houses a television in the left wall.
A contemporary light wood and grey desk stands with a matching upholstered armchair, below a pair of cubic sconces and minimalist wall shelf.
At the other end of the office, we have this armless deep cushioned chair and shelving with built-in lighting. Closet doors mirror the blue and white aesthetic of the living room.
Master bedroom holds a grandly appointed bed with dark salmon headboard between a pair of natural wood bedside tables, as well as a full fireplace at left.
Bedroom features this cozy floating powder room desk, with floral patterned drawers, below a window. Natural wood frame bench chair with gold patterned seating stands below.
Beside the master bedroom fireplace, we find this rich multi-textured club chair with matching ottoman, below a gold hued floor lamp and half-cylinder sconce.
Another example of the interplay of rich detail and soft neutral tones is this backless armchair with floral upholstery and carved wood arrow feet, standing below a pair of paintings in matching tones.
The master bathroom features a sumptuous mixture of marble and gold detail, within a stark white space. Rounded pedestal tub at left stands across from a dual vanity over green cabinetry, with gold hardware throughout. At center is a small relaxation cubby space.
The lavish vanity with marble countertop and pair of vessel sinks stands over rich green cabinetry with gold hardware.
A closer look reveals both spotlights emerging from the floor and a galaxy of star-like micro lighting in the miniature vaulted ceiling. Lounge seating stands before a small shaded window.
Secondary bedroom features warmer appointments, with a neutral toned bed and walls, framed by a pair of white structure bedside dressers and light salmon hued sconces.
Continuing with the mixture of light salmon tone and white with beige walls, the powder room space here features another floating desk below a small private window.
Another bathroom houses this bold, minimalist single vanity, with sleek white cabinetry and white vessel sink, framed in dark tones below a seamless two piece mirror.
Chromed cylinder sconces flank the mirror in this bathroom, while wall-mounted plumbing floats above the vessel sink.
Our final image showcases another ornate corner of the home, featuring this carved wood traditional armchair with floral upholstery, below a richly gold framed mirror.
