New construction offers endless possibility for total customization. This was the impetus behind designing this kitchen for a family of four.
The client’s wish list was topped by the combined ideas of functionality, easy navigation, and an airy beach feel. The team crafted an island oasis with an abundance of storage and plenty of usable countertop space at a comfortable height for the main chef and her young helpers.
Custom height single ovens were placed side by side to optimize usage for the family.
Direct, clean lines, in combination with a variety of finishes and textures, keeps the design current and comfortable. Full height backsplash features soft tones, contrasting nicely with the industrial styled, custom metal hood, tying the kitchen together with an interesting focal point.
The immense island matches the surroundings, with white painted wood cabinetry and black quarzite countertops. A small dining space sits opposite the range area, with its soft glass tile backsplash.
The extra large range is defined by the soft green tone of the tile backsplash, beneath the custom crafted metal hood. Island features a secondary sink, at right.
Dark stained wood cabinetry surrounds this metal countertop with mirrored backsplash in a separate bar space. Upper cupboards feature interior lighting behind glass panel doors.
