Welcome to our gallery focusing on the immaculate Cornish Penthouse by Ben Amzaleg.
This penthouse apartment represents Vancouver living at its best within the brand new Granville at 70th building by Canada’s leading luxury developer, Westbank.
The home is a large three bedroom, three bath configuration sprawling over 1,753 square feet. The broad interior is naturally lit via immense floor to ceiling windows all around.
The massive windows allow for incredible, unobstructed views of the water and surrounding cityscape from virtually anywhere within the open living space.
The open design floor plan connects three bedrooms and three bathrooms, a den, and 1,000 square feet of gorgeous rooftop space. The relative sprawl is countered by the clean, modern style of the interior.
The interior is also, as you’ll notice, rich with unique and artful detail. Where most ultra-modern interiors play out in wide swaths of minimalist materials, this penthouse is dotted with rich textural detail.
Beyond that obvious measure, the home sports numerous other well-chosen finishing options that showcase an exacting level of attention paid to the visual and tactile experience of the home.
One of the of the carefully chosen components of the home are a set of Miele appliances in both the kitchen and washer and dryer units. Flooring consists of walnut engineered hardwood, with heated marble floors in the bathrooms.
While the remainder of the building includes amenities like 24 hour concierge, a gym, theater room, sauna, steam room, a lounge, and three meeting rooms, the home itself is a the spectacular jewel in the crown.
We hope you appreciate the views both inside and looking out from this spectacular Vancouver penthouse apartment.
A broad balcony runs the length of the apartment, wrapped in slim metal railings and a glass balustrade for the ultimate panoramas. The balcony has enough room for several large container gardens with space to spare for relaxing with a view.
Speaking of the view, here we can see the expansive outlook from the dining area within the open-plan center of the home. The white and stainless steel table stands beside an ornate glass framed mirror, one of many stylistic flourishes in the home.
Now we see the dining table with the unique, immaculate crystal chandelier lighting the entire space. The chandelier is comprised of a set of vases on a glass shelf. To the right, we see one of the many patio access doors.
Moving back, we taken in a wider look at the large open-plan space at the center of this home. The all-glass exterior affords fantastic views from anywhere in here, including the living room and kitchen.
Moving into the kitchen itself, we grasp how large the grey-topped island is, replete with wine storage and built-in full size sink. The island helps define the kitchen within the larger open space. From here we can see the city expanding to the horizon.
The living room is defined by a large grey area rug and matching hued modern sofa, wrapping a space that includes a large minimalist coffee table and unique media shelving. The glossy off-white media shelf supports the television and a natural wood accent wall, at right.
Similar to the dining area, we now see the living room with the lights fully aglow. A singular modern floor lamp stands at the far end, mimicking the look of a low moon. The detailed wallpaper at right adds another personalized, unique touch to the penthouse.
The foyer holds a more traditional look, with muted walls and rich hardwood flooring. A set of colorful paintings adds contrast, while the glass balustrade on the staircase adds a touch of modern charm.
The primary bedroom, set just off the kitchen part of the open room, sports intricate wallpaper and richly patterned bedding in bright tones, setting a firm contrast to the public part of the home.
A second bedroom sports similarly detailed wallpaper in an entirely different tone. A pair of marble topped bedside tables hold gold lamps, glowing in natural light through the large glass door and windows.
Here we see one of the bathrooms, awash in marble tile and white walls. The marble topped island features natural wood cabinetry as a bold textural counterpoint.
In the primary bathroom, we see a broad double vanity through the glass bath enclosure. The door features smoked glass to allow for both privacy and natural light.
Here we see the subtle embedded lighting within the mirrors, as well as the view across the hall toward one of the bedrooms, awash in natural light.
This home office space holds a truly unique modern design desk with a sleek mixture of glossy whites and natural wood. A bold orange chair stands in high contrast.
On the edge of the balcony, we see part of the vast rooftop garden bursting with flowers and trees. The wealth of nature on the roof mirrors that of the surrounding countryside.
One of the biggest benefits to a penthouse apartment is the views. Unobstructed, panoramic, and intense, the outlook here is unparalleled.
On the other edge of the balcony, the view includes the bay to the west, leading out into the Pacific ocean. The natural views neatly compliment the modern design of the home.
