Welcome to our gallery featuring another gorgeous home by SoCal Contractor!
This home is an utterly unique creation, with quirky accents and bold patterns throughout. This allows for a fun design that blends beautifully with the contemporary and modern overall feel of the home.
In stark contrast to the main home, when entering this home’s pool house, you’re transported from an elegant and contemporary home with vintage elements, to a more modern space with bold, neon colors and smooth geometrics. Although modern, the nod to vintage kitsch is particularly evident in the furniture and color choices and ties in the pool house with the main living space.
Look for interesting accents throughout the home, like an antique secretary desk transformed into a clever spot to hide a television, or bold stencils on the ceiling of the dining room.
Keep an eye out for wrought iron details in the living room, like a pet gate near the stairs and a small balcony overlooking the room.
We hope you’ll enjoy viewing this fantastic, unique, and luxurious home by SoCal Contractor!
The kitchen, at first glance, looks very contemporary, with warm wood cabinetry and a light gray granite for the countertops. However, the details add individual flair to this space. The light fixtures on either side of the island are chandeliers tucked inside a tessellating glass diamond pattern.
The formal dining room has large china cabinets on either side of the small wrought iron balcony that overlooks the living room. This space is very contemporary, but the yellow stencils on the ceiling between the exposed wooden beams add unique charm.
A small stairway leads down from the dining room to the formal living room. The stairs are blocked off by a small, wrought iron pet and baby gate. The matching armless sofas each have a bold green stripe down the center.
A small family den with a convex fireplace, two blue wardrobes for storage, and a custom-made puppet theatre for the owner’s children. A small window looks in on the den from an upstairs room.
Some modern elements creep into the main home in this double office. Custom orange cabinetry and desk surfaces add an amazingly bright pop of color to the otherwise cream furniture. The desk areas are split into two workspaces: one with a computer, and the other more of a craft area.
A closer look at the study’s craft area, with a curious leather boot in the corner.
The primary bedroom is a beautiful, old-world space with embroidered, scalloped edged bedding and crystal orb light fixtures hanging above each of the nail-head trimmed nightstands.
In the primary bathroom, green reigns supreme. The bronzed vessel sink is perched upon the glossy black and bronze vanity with glass pulls.
A wild and whimsical family room makes for a perfect movie night and sleepover hangout for the kids. The dusky blue sectional sofa is covered with brightly colored blankets and pillows, so each person can make their own cozy nest while watching television.
A girl’s room with a faux white tiger rug covering the dark hardwood flooring. The day bed is built into the wall, with plush padding enveloping the entire nook.
A polished antique secretary desk that hides a few photographs and a small television while adding an air of elegance.
Outside, the backyard’s extensive patio and pool complex resides on a hill. Double doors lead outside to a wicker dining set.
As the backyard wraps around, the pool house comes into view, with a cabana nearby. An eat-in bar with a passthrough connects to the modern interior, creating from this angle a shift in styles.
Past the kitchen is a small living room in bold color and patterns. Modern backlit neon shelving extends into the kitchen. A small loft lounge area is tucked beneath the eaves.
The pool house bathroom is spacious and modern with whimsical lighting and dual sinks. It also includes a makeup vanity.
A shot at the dual sinks on the “island” of the pool house bathroom. The mirrored ceiling is a unique feature.
The cabana by the pool house is filled with luxurious, deep seating perfect for lounging. Stump tables painted gold act as coffee tables. An outdoor cooking range and grill are visible just to the right of the the cabana.
On a lower tier, mosaic tiles and patterns surround a built-in bench.
Nearby is another seating area and a lion’s head fountain in a beautiful mosaic tile.
The entirety of the backyard is closed off by a wrought-iron gate.
