These tired decks from the 1990s get complete makeovers that bring boutique hotel style to residential outdoor spaces. Weathered wood, outdated railings, and bland layouts give way to refined retreats with resort-worthy appeal. The gap between a builder-grade backyard deck and a boutique hotel terrace is smaller than most homeowners realize. It comes down to materiality, intention, and the willingness to treat outdoor space as seriously as any interior room. The transformations in this gallery do exactly that — replacing pressure-treated lumber, vinyl railings, and mismatched patio furniture with resort-caliber surfaces, considered lighting, and the kind of spatial layering that makes outdoor spaces feel genuinely luxurious. From carved limestone cascades to living sedum terraces, every renovation here begins with a single question: what would this space feel like if a world-class hotel designer had drawn the plans?
In order to come up with the very specific design ideas, we create most designs with the assistance of state-of-the-art AI interior design software.
Traditional Wood Deck Gives Way to Modern Desert Oasis Retreat

The original wooden deck with white spindle railings and basic patio furniture now hosts a geometric pool with tan coping, a white outdoor dining table surrounded by molded plastic chairs, and turquoise cushioned loungers. A modern pergola with horizontal slats shelters the dining area, while globe pendant lights hang overhead. The outdoor kitchen features a white waterfall-edge countertop and built-in grill against the renovated house facade.
Aluminum Pergola Frames Shade and Adds Structure

White vinyl railings and natural cedar planks disappear in favor of dark composite decking laid in a chevron-bordered pattern. A black aluminum louvered pergola anchors the dining zone, suspended with three amber globe pendants. Light wood furniture contrasts against black sectional seating and a linear fire feature. Glass railings along the perimeter maintain sightlines while built-in LED step lighting illuminates the wider staircase design.
Modular Sectional Seating Wraps the Sunken Fire Pit
Dark charcoal composite decking replaces the honey-toned wood planks, creating a low-maintenance surface that anchors the entire composition. A black powder-coated louvered pergola provides overhead structure, while inset strip lighting illuminates the stair risers in warm amber tones. Black metal dining chairs surround a walnut-stained table, positioned on a gravel-edged platform that segments the deck into distinct zones.
Modular sectional seating in charcoal upholstery wraps around a sunken fire pit, with a projection screen mounted on the house’s charcoal-painted facade. Amber globe pendants hang from the pergola beams, echoing the under-step lighting. Planters with ornamental grasses flank the steps, softening the geometry.
Coral Accents Brighten the Blue-and-White Scheme

A white louvered pergola now defines the space, its adjustable slats filtering light across navy striped cushions and coastal furniture. The original wood decking retains its natural finish but gains structure through zoned seating areas. Blue and white striped awnings add bold pattern above the dining table, while a round rattan pendant lamp hangs from the pergola beams.
White planters filled with hydrangeas line the deck perimeter, softening the railing. Navy blue dining chairs surround a bleached wood table, anchoring the left side. A striped sofa occupies the opposite end, paired with white side tables and geometric throw pillows in coral and navy.
Twin Rectangular Pools Anchor the New Layout

Stained cedar decking and white vertical railing vanish in favor of an elevated concrete pool surround. Two rectangular pools anchor the new layout, one long lap pool with shallow seating steps and a smaller spa tub at the opposite corner. Stone coping edges both water features in pale beige travertine. White aluminum louvers stretch overhead, casting adjustable shade across low-profile teak loungers and modular white outdoor sofas.
Integrated steps descend from the pool deck into the yard on three sides, clad in matching travertine with horizontal risers. Built-in planters frame the spa with manicured boxwood shrubs. An outdoor kitchen sits beneath the pergola, finished in the same beige stone with stainless steel grill inserts. Glass panel railings replace the old white spindles, offering unobstructed views toward the tree line.
- Travertine coping and integrated steps replace painted wood rails and posts
- White aluminum louvered pergola provides adjustable sun control over seating areas
- Glass panel guardrails maintain sightlines toward wooded backdrop
Glossy Black Marble Tiles Turn the Deck Into Obsidian

Glossy black marble tiles cover both the deck floor and multi-level steps, reflecting light like polished obsidian. White aluminum louvers and pergola posts frame seating areas furnished with white metal dining chairs and a low-profile sectional. Horizontal white slats wrap around the original hot tub structure, now integrated into the sleek design. White hydrangeas in black planters line the steps, emphasizing the strict two-tone palette that replaced warm cedar tones with high-contrast modern geometry.
Lap Pool and Sail Shade Structure Anchor Resort-Inspired Refresh

Beige vinyl siding receives a coat of white stucco, while the original wooden deck expands into a multi-level platform system built from horizontal-grain decking. Perforated metal risers line each stair tread, creating visual rhythm across the tiered zones. An elongated lap pool cuts through the center of the deck, bordered by planted beds filled with ornamental grasses and low-growing succulents in terracotta containers.
Triangular sail shades stretch overhead, anchored by tall white poles that frame the outdoor dining area. Light wood furniture with blonde finish complements the deck tones, while modular sectional seating in cream upholstery defines the lounging zone. Potted birch trees planted in cylindrical white planters introduce vertical greenery without obscuring sightlines to the wooded backdrop.
Cedar Pergola and Stone Pavers Convert Traditional Deck Space

Cedar beams form a pergola over the new dining zone, with decorative globe pendants suspended from its crossbars. Stone pavers in gray and tan hues replace the former wood decking, creating defined areas for dining and lounging. LED strip lighting runs beneath the step risers and along the pergola’s horizontal supports, casting warm amber tones across the outdoor space. Wicker furniture with neutral cushions sits beside a curved sectional, while the house exterior shifts from beige siding to a terracotta stucco finish.
Decorative metal panels in a lattice pattern encase the lower portions of the stair railings, contrasting with the natural cedar tones above. Planters in copper finishes hold Japanese maples, adding vertical greenery to the corners of the patio layout.
Multi-Level Platform Design With Integrated Spa and Pergola Bar

Horizontal slat wood decking extends across three distinct platform levels, each bordered by white stone gravel and strips of green turf. A gray louvered pergola anchors the left side, sheltering a rectangular dining table with pale green chairs and hanging globe pendant lights. Below it, a white sectional sofa wraps around a concrete fire table. The hot tub sits recessed into a light gray privacy screen with horizontal slats, adjacent to a white quartz outdoor kitchen bar topped with matching green stools.
Concrete pavers in pale gray form the primary surface, contrasting with warm wood tones on the deck platforms. A Japanese maple with burgundy foliage occupies the foreground, planted within one of the raised deck sections. Integrated LED strip lighting runs beneath each platform edge, creating linear illumination that outlines the geometric layout after dark. The house exterior shifts to smooth white stucco, replacing the beige vinyl siding visible in the original elevated deck configuration.
From Cedar Deck to Charcoal Tile Lounge with Integrated Firepit

Natural cedar planks and white spindle railings have been replaced with large-format charcoal porcelain tile laid in a running bond pattern. The surface extends across multiple planes, interrupted by three wide steps illuminated with recessed linear LED strips that cast warm light across each tread. A sunken firepit ringed by dark metal occupies the center of the main platform, surrounded by low-profile black furniture with gray cushions.
Overhead, a horizontal slat pergola finished in matte black aluminum spans the seating zone, suspending a cluster of amber globe pendant lights on black cord. The hot tub remains but now sits flush with the tile surface rather than elevated. Additional rope lighting traces the perimeter of each level and highlights the underside of the pergola beams. Tall wooden posts have been eliminated entirely, opening sightlines to the lawn and wooded backdrop.
Another transformation takes the concept of outdoor luxury to an entirely new level with multi-tiered architecture.
Tiered Black Composite Platforms Frame Infinity Pool and Hot Tub Suite

Charcoal composite decking arranges itself across three distinct elevation changes, each level defined by wide horizontal steps. An infinity-edge plunge pool occupies the lowest tier, its glass tile interior glowing turquoise against black stone coping. The hot tub sits elevated on gray composite panels, flanked by white metal loungers.
A louvered aluminum pergola spans the dining zone, its adjustable slats casting striped shadows across black outdoor furniture. The house exterior shifts from beige vinyl siding to matte charcoal panels with black-framed windows. Decorative birch poles anchor one corner near low-profile planters filled with white hydrangeas.
Round Infinity Pool and Spa Pavilion Convert Elevated Deck into Resort Terrace

The transformation replaces tiered wood decking with a broad patio of light gray rectangular pavers arranged in a linear pattern with darker bronze-tone inset strips that radiate from a central round infinity-edge pool. Steps descend from the house to the main level, framed by low plantings of white flowering shrubs in large bronze planters. A modern steel pergola spans the upper lounge zone, draped with cascading white floral vines that provide dappled shade over a gray modular sectional and adjacent dining set with mesh-back chairs.
An elevated rectangular spa sits to the right, clad in textured concrete panels that echo the pool’s raised bronze rim. The house exterior shifts from beige vinyl siding to smooth white stucco, and the white railing system disappears entirely. Ornamental grasses and silvery foliage plants soften the patio edges, creating a cohesive palette of cream, charcoal, and bronze that anchors the entire outdoor living suite.
Pool Oasis with White Pergola and Blue Mosaic Tile Inlays

Polished white concrete pavers replace honey-toned wood planks, anchored by cobalt blue mosaic tile strips running perpendicular to the house. An inground pool with matching blue waterline tile occupies the central zone, flanked by a hot tub clad in white horizontal paneling. Chrome and amber glass pendant lights hang from a white louvered pergola. Tan aluminum dining chairs with striped blue cushions coordinate with chaise lounges positioned poolside. Built-in outdoor kitchen features stainless steel appliances and white cabinetry.
Freeform Pool with Weathered Pergola Transforms Deck Into Coastal Retreat
Gone is the basic elevated wood deck with white railings. Its replacement features an organic kidney-shaped pool finished in aqua plaster, positioned on cream travertine pavers. Broad steps in matching travertine lead down from the house, flanked by subtle landscape lighting.
Weathered driftwood-style timber frames an oversized pergola above a rustic wood dining table paired with woven rattan chairs. Draped netting hangs from the pergola beams, introducing a beachy, relaxed texture. Two cushioned loungers sit poolside near horizontal slat privacy fencing in pale sage. An outdoor kitchen clad in reclaimed barnwood anchors the far corner, complete with white cabinetry and a concrete countertop. Potted hydrangeas in wooden planters soften the paver edges.
Slate-Toned Composite Decking with Integrated Spa and Outdoor Kitchen

Dark gray composite planks replace the original cedar boards, extending across multiple levels connected by wide steps with horizontal cable railings. A rectangular plunge pool sits near the center, bordered by the same composite material used for the deck surface. The sunken seating area features charcoal cushions on a built-in L-shaped sectional positioned beside a linear gas fireplace with glass wind guards.
A cantilevered pergola with motorized louvers provides adjustable shade over the dining zone, which includes a black metal table with matching chairs. The outdoor kitchen incorporates stainless steel appliances set into dark gray cabinetry, flanked by bar seating with upholstered stools. Wall sconces in matte black finish illuminate the house exterior, while pendant globe lights hang above the spa area. Planters with ornamental grasses soften the hardscape edges.
Illuminated Steps and Concrete Pavilion Replace Traditional Wood Railing

Warm wood tones give way to poured concrete platforms, LED-lit stair risers, and horizontal cable railings in brushed bronze. A flat-roofed pavilion with slatted privacy screens shelters built-in seating upholstered in ivory linen. An inset spa with square edges anchors one corner, while a long dining table in live-edge oak seats eight beneath a statement drum pendant.
History Corner: Composite decking surged in popularity during the early 2000s as a low-maintenance alternative to treated lumber, but by the 2010s, architects began favoring poured concrete and porcelain pavers for their ability to integrate underfloor lighting and create crisp geometric profiles.
Slatted Pergola and Multi-Level Layout Convert Deck Into Outdoor Living Suite

Overhead lattice beams cast patterned shadows across tiered platforms anchored by wide steps that ripple down to grass. A built-in bench spans the far edge, paired with a long dining table and cushioned chairs in teal and rust tones. Planters flank the stainless steel grill station, while twin lounge chairs face the yard beneath the open structure.
Vertical Privacy Wall and Integrated Planter Beds Reshape Composite Deck

White composite railings disappear in favor of vertical slat screening stained in espresso brown, creating a theatrical backdrop that conceals neighboring sightlines. Two raised planter boxes wrapped in matching dark composite boards anchor the deck’s perimeter, filled with dense ferns and trailing greenery that spill over the edges. Low-voltage LED strips illuminate each tread on the tiered staircase, casting a warm glow across the horizontal decking planks.
Modern outdoor furniture replaces the mismatched patio set. A teak dining table with woven rattan chairs occupies the dining zone, while a sectional sofa upholstered in sage green fabric defines the lounge area. Edison bulb pendants hang from a matte black steel pergola frame, suspended at varying heights to create ambient lighting after dark. The house exterior receives fresh taupe paint with black window trim, coordinating with the deck’s updated material palette.
Curved Green Mosaic Tile Wraps the Pool in Saturated Jewel Tones

Curved green mosaic tile wraps the pool and spa surfaces in saturated jewel tones, contrasting sharply against white concrete coping and deck surfaces. A flowing shade sail stretches overhead, anchored to the house and freestanding supports. White molded chairs circle a green velvet banquette, while oversized planters hold fan palms and tropical foliage that soften the geometric layout.
Southwestern Courtyard with Curved Fire Pit and Pergola-Covered Dining

Terra cotta pavers laid in geometric patterns with gravel joints create a Southwestern courtyard atmosphere. A curved brick fire pit anchors a semicircular rust-colored sectional, while LED strips illuminate tiered steps. Cedar pergola beams shelter a long wood dining table surrounded by woven chairs. Stucco walls painted in sand tones frame a built-in grill station with stone countertops and a copper range hood.
Slatted Pergola Filters Light Across the Patio

Stone columns support a horizontal slatted wood pergola above a ground-level hardscape that extends into a narrow lap pool with aqua tile. Rust-colored upholstered modular seating anchors the seating zone near a built-in outdoor kitchen clad in stacked limestone. Wide steps combine pale concrete treads with vertical wood risers, leading down from the modernized home exterior. Planters with ornamental grasses and agave punctuate the patio’s edges, contrasting with the rectilinear pool design.
Trend Alert: Lap pools average 10 feet wide and 40 to 50 feet long, designed for swim training rather than lounging. Their linear form fits narrow yards and creates visual flow on small lots where traditional pool shapes overwhelm.
Concrete Steps and Bronze Pergola Frame Sunken Lounge Patio

Broad terraced steps in natural concrete and ipe-look composite planks descend from the house to a sunken patio centered around a circular burgundy inset detail. A bronze-finished aluminum pergola shelters a ten-seat dining table, while low-profile sectionals in cream upholstery occupy the main terrace. Large concrete pavers form the primary surface, bordered by planted hydrangeas in planters. Integrated landscape lighting highlights the stepped transitions.
Black Composite Deck with LED Strip Lighting and Horizontal Cable Rails

Charcoal composite planks stretch across the rebuilt deck, contrasting sharply with the amber LED strips recessed into each tread. Horizontal black cable rails replace the old white balusters, creating uninterrupted sightlines toward the tree line. A black powder-coated pergola cantilevers over the dining zone, its linear beams echoing the deck’s built-in lighting scheme.
The black sectional sits opposite a dining table with bentwood chairs, while planted olive trees in corten steel planters flank the illuminated steps. Recessed spotlights and a spherical pendant fixture layer the evening ambiance, moving the space firmly into modern territory.
Blue Moroccan Tile Hot Tub with Gold Brass Pergola and Built-In Grill Station

Cobalt blue tile lines the hexagonal raised spa and descends into stepped seating that wraps the perimeter. Geometric patterned bands in navy, cream, and metallic gold accent each riser. A brass pergola with retractable navy canopy shelters gold-framed dining chairs and a marble-top table. The built-in outdoor kitchen features navy blue tile facing with brass hardware. Beige pavers cover the ground plane, punctuated by terracotta planters holding olive trees and magenta bougainvillea.
Turquoise Tiled Water Features with Southwestern Pergola Over Terracotta Pavers

Saltillo tiles in salmon and terracotta hues stretch across the ground plane, bordered by turquoise mosaic tile that wraps both a raised spa and a linear reflecting pool. The cedar pergola uses rounded logs with crossbeam detailing, casting striped shadows over teak dining chairs and a matching table. Decorative ceramic pots with violet florals accent the perimeter. Yellow and pink flowering plants soften the angular geometry of the raised water structures, while the stucco exterior adopts a tan finish.
Mediterranean Courtyard with Olive Trees and Ribbon Plantings Over Deck

Mature olive trees anchored in circular concrete planters punctuate the poured concrete patio, while pink ice plant flows between limestone pavers arranged in horizontal bands. A cedar pergola with exposed joists shelters teak dining furniture, and a raised stucco fire feature borders the pool coping.
Fun Fact: The planted strips function as living stepping stones that break up the visual mass of hardscape while providing thermal cooling. Each olive tree requires a minimum three-foot diameter root well to establish the canopy spread seen here.
Gold Lighting Accents Elevate the Outdoor Mood

Motorized walnut louvers span a black metal frame above terracotta pavers set in a geometric pattern. A backlit dining table with woven rattan chairs anchors one zone while a curved sectional occupies the lounge area. Starburst pendant and globe cluster chandeliers hang from the canopy. LED strips illuminate table edges and stair risers in warm gold tones.
Terraced Steps with LED Risers and Cedar Pergola Anchor Resort-Style Patio

Curved terraced steps descend from the house in concentric arcs, each riser embedded with warm LED strip lighting that creates a glowing cascade after dark. The pavers mix peachy terra cotta tones with softer blush hues, laid in a radial pattern that follows the rounded geometry. A cedar pergola with curved rafters shelters a circular hot tub, flanked by a long outdoor dining table and a sunken fire pit ringed by a coral-cushioned built-in bench. The stucco house exterior has been refinished in a soft beige, with black-framed windows that contrast sharply against the neutral facade.
Terracotta planters at multiple levels hold drought-tolerant grasses and agaves. The steps themselves function as informal seating, with candles tucked into niches along the risers. Overhead pendant lights hang from the pergola beams, casting pools of light over the dining zone and hot tub area. Ground-level uplighting accents the pergola posts and surrounding plantings, layering the illumination throughout the evening hours.
Asian-Inspired Pavilion with Slatted Screens Over Geometric Pavers

The elevated deck gives way to ground-level pavers arranged in large-format squares with linear grout joints filled by moss strips. A timber-frame pavilion anchored by stacked stone columns supports a curved roof clad in charcoal shingles. Vertical wood slats backed by white fabric panels create privacy screens on two sides, framing a seating area furnished with rattan chairs and a black coffee table. The outdoor kitchen features a pale green island with waterfall edges. A rectangular pool runs parallel to the house, bordered by horizontal wood slat fencing that echoes the pavilion’s screen details.
Gravel pathways define circulation zones between planted beds holding evergreen shrubs and ornamental grasses. The paver grid extends across multiple levels, connected by dark stone steps that create subtle elevation changes throughout the space.
Potted Palms and Agave Soften the Hardscape Edge

Exposed wooden beams support layers of natural bamboo thatch that cast dappled shadows across large-format gray pavers below. A circular fire bowl with light stone aggregate surround sits at the center of a charcoal modular sectional topped with tangerine and gold cushions. Rustic wood dining furniture occupies the left zone near potted palms and agave in terracotta containers. An outdoor kitchen with stacked stone base and wood countertop anchors the right side, while amber step lighting highlights the transition from pool level to patio.
Cedar Pergola with Blue Cushioned Lounge and Outdoor Kitchen

Rough-sawn cedar beams form a chunky pergola structure that casts dappled shadows across terracotta pavers below. Blue canvas cushions upholster a custom L-shaped seating area with built-in fire pit, while a nearby dining table seats eight beneath the open lattice roof. Stacked stone clads an outdoor kitchen counter equipped with stainless steel appliances, positioned flush against the house exterior. Potted palms in glazed ceramic planters anchor the seating zones.
Lattice panels offer privacy screening on one side of the structure, while the opposite end remains open to views of the grass and tree line. Light wood tones dominate the palette, from the pergola posts to the furniture frames, creating a cohesive visual flow that replaces the earlier elevated composite deck.
Raised Infinity Pool with Integrated Spa and Steel Pergola

White painted brick updates the home’s exterior while a multi-level concrete deck system replaces the old wood structure. The raised infinity-edge pool sits clad in stacked stone veneer with water spilling into a catch basin below. Adjacent to the pool, a matching raised spa features tile mosaic interiors and bubbling jets visible in the turquoise water.
Gray pavers in a linear pattern cover the main entertaining zone, anchored by a charcoal steel pergola with retractable canvas panels overhead. An outdoor kitchen incorporates a stainless steel grill with sage green cabinetry and white stone countertops. Modern sectional seating in gray fabric pairs with a minimalist concrete fire pit, while globe pendant lights hang from the pergola’s crossbeams. Glass railings protect the pool’s elevated perimeter without blocking views.
Ipe Deck with Integrated Hot Tub and Layered Pergola Zones

Horizontal ipe planks span the ground-level deck, surrounding a square stainless steel hot tub with amber LED backlighting. Wide stair risers incorporate strip lighting between each tread. A freestanding walnut pergola frames the sunken seating area, while pendant globe fixtures hang above the fire table. Desert spoon agaves anchor the perimeter plantings.
Coffered White Pergola and Tiered Stone Steps Over Pool Deck

🔥 Would you like to save this?
Painted brick exterior now extends to the patio level, unifying the architecture. A white pergola with coffered beam detailing shelters an L-shaped sectional upholstered in cream linen, positioned around a gas fire table with concrete surround. Round dining sets and teak lounge chairs occupy separate zones under the latticed canopy.
Tiered steps descend in alternating bands of white stone and warm wood treads, creating geometric striping that leads toward an inground pool with pale pebble finish. Potted topiaries in oversized urns flank the seating area, while a built-in outdoor kitchen with stainless steel appliances occupies the far end of the patio. The pergola’s crossbeam caps add decorative weight to the structure.
Santorini-Inspired White Stucco with Freeform Pool and Sail Shades

Two overlapping triangular sail shades stretch above a freeform pool finished in bright turquoise plaster. White stucco walls encase the house with arched window frames painted navy blue. Curved steps with navy inlaid borders lead to a dining zone outfitted with white metal chairs and blue cushions. Potted lavender in white planters edge the pool deck. The original wooden railing and straight decking gave way to fluid geometry and Mediterranean color.
Perimeter Lighting Washes the Lawn Edge in Amber

Steel posts in weathered bronze finish support a flat-roof pergola canopy that extends beyond the deck perimeter, creating covered dining and lounge zones. Charcoal gray composite planks replace the honey-toned wood, while integrated LED strips illuminate each riser tread on the tiered steps. Black aluminum dining chairs surround a rectangular table beneath the canopy, positioned adjacent to a built-in fire feature with glass windscreen panels.
Dark cladding on the house exterior contrasts with warm interior lighting visible through floor-to-ceiling sliding doors. Stepped planters with low grasses punctuate the deck levels, and perimeter lighting washes the lawn edge with amber glow. The railing-free design relies on grade changes for safety, eliminating the visual barrier that enclosed the original deck footprint.
Layered Cedar Pergola with Ivy Canopy and Multi-Level Paver Lounge

Rustic cedar beams form a multi-tiered pergola anchoring this ground-level patio where ivy drapes naturally across the open slats. Wicker seating with burnt orange cushions flanks a built-in fire pit ringed by smooth gray pavers. Under-lit cedar planters define tiered levels that cascade down steps inlaid with terra cotta pavers and gravel borders. Pendant fixtures in amber glass hang from the pergola’s crossbeams, while woven basket lanterns add textural depth. Large terracotta urns planted with olive trees punctuate the corners, and LED strips glow beneath each horizontal planter edge.
Dark Charcoal Siding and Multi-Zone Deck with LED-Lit Steps

Black aluminum railings replace white-painted balusters while dark composite decking absorbs ambient light from recessed LED strips installed in each stair riser. A cedar pergola frames an outdoor dining table for ten, positioned beside built-in bench seating with copper-toned cushions. An integrated pizza oven anchors the far corner near sliding glass doors painted charcoal to match newly applied board-and-batten siding that replaced beige horizontal planks.
Glossy Black Deck with Art Deco Railings and Suspended Chandelier

Matte black composite decking replaces the original cedar boards, while gold-trimmed Art Deco railings featuring sunburst patterns frame the perimeter. A rectangular dining table seats six on emerald green velvet chairs, positioned beneath a suspended crystal chandelier. A curved sofa in matching emerald upholstery wraps around a low round coffee table near the grill station.
Recessed LED strips outline each tread on the staircase and illuminate the deck perimeter at floor level. The pergola structure above uses black aluminum beams with integrated track lighting. Gold accents appear on the grill cart handles, light fixture frames, and decorative side tables flanking the seating area. The house exterior received charcoal gray paint, and new windows include dark bronze frames.
Turquoise Gravel Bands and Faux Stone Pergola with Resort Pool

The expanded multi-level design incorporates a freeform swimming pool with turquoise lounge chairs positioned along its perimeter. A pergola wrapped in faux stone columns supports a slatted wood canopy over the dining area. Horizontal bands of turquoise gravel alternate with terracotta-stained wood planks to create tiered steps descending from the deck. Purple flowering ground cover fills sections between the gravel stripes. An elevated hot tub finished in the same wood stain sits beside the pool. The house exterior now wears a burnt orange hue.
