Welcome to our gallery featuring the stunning Prismatic Blue home by Brain Factory.
This striking, colorful space fills the interior of a cozy apartment located in Rome, Italy.
The decisive owners favored the development of an open plan space awash in a deep blue tone, and the results bear this out.
Set over a mere 90 square meters, this interior design truly takes advantage of every inch of space, with a detailed, balanced layout and dynamic sense of style.
The open space layout revolves around a frosted glass prism that contains the wardrobe, both defining and reflecting the surrounding space.
The living room space and dining area are partially separated by a large central block, designed to be a utilitarian equipment wall on one side and a sideboard on the other. This feature is highlighted in blue, while geometric tiles highlight the spaces between shelves.
The entire look is one of striking contrast and definitive colors, an unabashed space that doesn’t even attempt to be neutral.
Elsewhere in the home, we see a range of warm tones that complement but decline to match the bright blue of the main open area. The primary bedroom in particular is highlighted by deep red tones and soft neutral backing colors.
The bedroom boasts clouds of light paper, floating over the bed as a unique lighting scheme, basking in the glow of natural light through full height glazing.
This area features a unique full height window looking directly into the bathroom shower; it makes for a playful, sensual feature for a couple to enjoy.
The bathroom itself brings balance with a light toned space planted over dark large format tile flooring. There’s a hint of bleached natural wood that draws contrast with the surrounding areas.
The entire home is a sumptuous feast of textures and color, with a solidly expressive style that unifies every disparate corner.
As seen in the top featured image, the central open space of this apartment is awash in deep blue tones, while a sprinkling of yellow makes for stunning contrast. At center, we can see the frosted glass “prism.”
The kitchen is bursting with brightness, thanks to sleek, minimalist white cabinetry and countertops. The open layout means that the lengthy countertop doubles as an impromptu dining space.
Turned full to reveal the rest of the kitchen, we see bold blue cabinetry that connects the area visually to the rest of the open plan space. A unique tile backsplash adds texture and complexity to the look.
Moving into the primary bedroom, we see a bold new shade: rich, deep red tones adorn the bed and drapery. This offers a warm contrast to the blue and white tones seen elsewhere. Above the bed are those paper cloud lights.
Here’s a closer look at the unique lighting scheme in the primary bedroom. Carefully folded white paper materials create the illusion of clouds hanging over the room.
Turning to the side, we see the unique shower window, offering a full view into the shower from the bedroom. This voyeuristic feature is sure to be a hit with couples.
From inside the sleek, minimalist shower, we can see the bedroom awash in sunlight, courtesy of the large window and all-glass balcony access door.
In the bathroom itself, we see the light natural wood accents adorning the minimalist space. Features like the white vessel sink and wall-mounted faucet increase the wow factor.
