Welcome to our gallery featuring the lavish, modern rustic Northern Wisconsin “Cabin”, designed by John Kraemer & Sons.
A sprawling lakeside propertyย in Wisconsin holds this immense, traditionally beautiful house. An extensive amount of natural materials were used on both the interior and exterior of theย home, including natural stone and reclaimed wood, sourced from Montana.
There is no sheet-rock in the entire house. The interior is decked out from end to end with natural hardwood paneling and exposed beams, imbuing the surroundings with a lush, inviting tone.
Throughout the interior, we see a nearly unending parade of varying natural wood tones, from lacquered smooth walls to rough exposed beams. This brings a naturally cohesive sense to the entire space, punctuated by momentary flashes of color and unique materials.
The kitchen sports white cabinetry and fogged glass, the bathrooms hold dark marble vanities and all-glass shower enclosures, and the modern appliances in stainless steel let the modern construction peek through the traditional style.
We hope you truly enjoy the ideas this home was built upon and share our inspiration.

The gently sloped lawn surrounds the stone wrapped home, lowering to reveal a raised patio with wrought iron fencing at right, with multiple entrances and an array of windows scattered throughout the facade.
The front porch is fully shaded by a roof overlooked by arched upper floor windows. Four double pillars of natural wood beams wrap the large entryway.

ย This enclosed, patio-like room stands a floor to ceiling window wrapped space beneath a natural wood exposed beam ceiling, with six bell chandeliers illuminating a dining set and sofas in resin wicker. Stone tile flooring reflects the exterior stone.
The resin wicker furniture features neutral grey cushions, arrayed around a light natural wood table on grey area rug. The kitchen is accessible via fully openable wall in background.
With twin standard size wood-frame, glass panel doors allowing entry to and from the kitchen and dining spaces, the main folding-door passage can be left closed to conserve warm or cool air.
The kitchen centers around two lengthy islands: a serving one, with bar style seating in foreground, and one containing the range and oven, with overhead glass door cabinetry, in background.
With the kitchen fully lit via recessed lighting in the hardwood ceiling, we see an array of white cabinetry built into the far wall and at left, contrasting with the natural wood surroundings, yet matching the marble countertops.

ย Here we have the discrete stone patio with dual free standing fire pits.
The home fits perfectly with its natural surroundings; seen here in the fog, we see the soft glow of hanging lights inside.
An extended dock allows for ample patio seating right on the lake itself, secluded from the main home by a large berm and trees.
An arial view grants us the opportunity to appreciate the water wrapped parcel of land this home commands.
