Welcome to this fantastic gallery featuring a beautiful home by Garrison Hullinger Interior Design.
The owners of this house are a young couple just beginning to plan their family, so they wanted a comfortable home that would accommodate that growing family.
The home had recently had a kitchen remodel, and much of the home had also been updated with new windows. The real task was to personalize the space for the family and create an interior design that would make the best use out of the open concept dining room and living room.
Garrison Hullinger Interior Design chose family-friendly fabrics and finishes that would hold up against a young family’s daily routine.
The home itself is an early 1920s home, and the couple wanted to keep some of the traditional charm of the home while updating the living spaces for a modern lifestyle.
Keep an eye out for a stunning piece of original art in the living room, right above the fireplace mantle. It’s a unique piece that ties the room together perfectly.
We hope you’ll enjoy this fabulous, welcoming home as much as we do!
The formal living room space includes two separate seating areas: one near the spacious window and French doors to the foyer, and a small area near the screened fireplace. The dark hardwood flooring is covered by traditional rugs in beige, red, and brown.

The small seating area in front of the beautiful fireplace has two wingback chairs and drum-shaped side tables. The beautiful pastoral piece of original artwork above the fireplace gives the space a sense of gentle serenity.

The foyer empties into the open-concept dining room, which flows into the living room. The design choices also flow together, including the same wingback chair in both the living room and dining rooms, and the same curtain patterns. The beam ceiling adds architectural charm.
The lower level family room has gorgeous dark wood built-ins on the far wall, including a massive entertainment center with bookshelves on either side. The cream sectional has a wide chaise perfect for curling up on.
A close up on the family room’s leather ottoman, which doubles as a coffee table. The throw pillows are in layered patterns that add visual interest to the room.
A beautiful gender-neutral nursery with a dark wood changing table and a beautiful polished rocking chair. A soft area rug covers the rich hardwood floors that extend throughout the home.
A view of the entire nursery. The modestly sized room’s crib sits at a diagonal to the rocking chair. The upper half of the walls above the chair rail has a sweet wild bird wallpaper.
