Welcome to our gallery featuring the incredible events venue, The Woodlands at Hothorpe Hall, designed by the illustrious Blue Forest.
The newest sections of the venue, the eco-lodges and treehouse, are located on the grounds of the historic Hothorpe Hall, and act as an alternative to the much more traditional original structure.
Located in Teddingworth, Leicestershire, the venue specializes in hosting group events, including weddings, conferences, and group retreats.
The Woodlands features seven stylish eco-lodges for accommodations, a main function building that includes a bar, lounge area, and dining room, and of course, the lovely treehouse suite.
Each eco-lodge features six en-suite double bedrooms, the snugs have two en-suite double or twin bedrooms, and a small kitchenette. The Woodlands has a total of 23 bedrooms available to guests.
The luxury treehouse is the perfect tucked away retreat for couples, and offers incredible views of the rolling fields beyond the Woodlands.
Inside, there is a fantastic double bedroom and en-suite bathroom that features a soaking tub and a monsoon shower.
Outside, the alfresco deck provides a romantic dining and relaxing space with gorgeous views of the garden and countryside.
All together, these buildings form an incredible village that’s perfect for large group events.
We hope you’ll enjoy this gallery as much as we have!
Here we see one of the outsides of the eco-lodges, which are wood and glass construction. A narrow porch allows guests to enjoy the outdoor weather in the evenings. In front, a rustic table and stump seating adds to the natural atmosphere.
From the rear of the luxury treehouse, we can see the curved alfresco deck that is elevated above the trees to provide a fantastic countryside view.
Inside the main lodge area is a huge rustic bar, featuring rustic wooden elements and a wide variety of liquors.
The bar actually extends through into the dining room, which is painted a dusky blue that’s easy on the eyes.
The twin bedrooms are lovely and spacious, with crisp white sheets and plaid blankets. The design is simple but stylish and wholly welcoming.
Back inside the treehouse is the primary suite, which has a conical ceiling with exposed beams and rich violet curtains. Sconces help brighten the room, which has a single globe light hanging from the ceiling.
The en-suite bathroom in the treehouse is exquisitely tiled and features a freestanding soaking tub beneath three narrow windows that face the trees for privacy.
Back in the main lodge, we see one of the large ballrooms currently set up for a conference. It could easily be transformed into a reception area for a wedding.
The treehouse’s back deck has a small seating area for sipping morning coffee or enjoying a glass of wine as the evening winds down.
The deck is very private, hidden by the trees. The atmosphere of seclusion is perfect for a couple’s getaway.
This final look at the elevated treehouse shows the stairs leading up and the simple, natural clay pathways that lead up to it.
