Edward Norton is a film actor known for his starring roles in films such as Primal Fear, American History X, The Incredible Hulk and Birdman.

Norton grew up as a member of a privileged Boston family and started acting two years upon graduating from Yale University. With a degree in history, Norton worked for his grandfather’s company at Japan but went back to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. Norton’s acting career began at several off-off-Broadway productions before acquiring an important role in the film Primal Fear.

He then went on to star in many films such as Fight Club, American History X, The Incredible Hulk, The Italian Job, The Illusionist and many more. He garnered multiple awards as well, from his Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor in Primal Fear to Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture in Birdman and Excellence Award.

In his personal life, Norton married Canadian film producer Shauna Robertson and the couple have one son named Atlas.
