When we took over the project to design, it was also the time when the Corona virus epidemic broke out. Schools and entertainment spaces are closed to enforce social distancing orders.
Housing space begins to shoulder the task of serving people more, more difficult than the narrow living spaces located inside big cities. We put the issue of priority space for young children, relaxation space is also more concerned.
Villa City Project is located in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Housing for husband and wife and 2 sons. With an area of 117m2 and limited investment, we are very thoughtful to organize a reasonable living, working, resting and relaxing space and relieve the inhibited mentality when being restricted from leaving the house when leaving the house. The situation can be long-term social isolation.
The narrowing of the living room, the removal of the bedroom, the making of bunk beds for the children to share in one room, leads to an excess of space for planting trees, swimming pools and treehouses for the children to play. Helps release energy for babies.
The children’s bedroom and the parent’s bedroom have connecting doors, and connecting to the balcony creates a connecting space long enough for the children to run comfortably, the bedroom is designed with a large glass wall overlooking the green trees and gardens. Natural light is drawn from the atriums to make the bedroom airy, freeing up the view.
