The house in the alley is a very popular type of housing in Ho Chi Minh City. Characterized by a narrow entrance, complex division of land plots according to the spontaneous development of urbanization, Tiny House is also one of such houses.
The land is located in District 4, densely populated, the block is nestled between the surrounding works. The land plan is divided into 2 parts, the front part is a narrow strip of land with a frontage of 1.8m wide, the rear part is quite square.
The customer is a family of 6 members, in addition to the common living space, they also need separate and fully furnished personal spaces.
The architects carefully surveyed the current situation of elevation, the space between the surrounding blocks, found the openings where the windows can be opened, helping to maximize the light for all spaces, especially the Stairs and toilets.
Small skylights also support natural lighting and ventilation. Furniture is integrated in the most minimalist way, taking advantage of the space under the stairs and under the bed as a storage place.
White paint color is the main color, combined with unplastered brick wall materials, decorative cement bricks. Gate doors, entrance ceilings, and balconies are made of perforated steel plates, helping to ventilate, creating privacy and accents for the building.
The project has completely overcome the disadvantages of the shape and location of the land, providing a bright and neat living space for customers, suitable to the economic conditions and lifestyle of urban residents.
