Tiger Woods is well-known for his success in golf as well as his comeback after the golfing world had pretty much signed him off after a series of injuries and back surgery. However, like anyone, Woods has decided to move on and the property he has at Windmere, FL is now listed for a pleasant $5.6 million.

The property itself in terms of the house covers 7,940 square feet. It is an incredibly-sized two-story home with seven bedrooms, a gourmet-style kitchen, 9 bathrooms, and additional amenities. The property also has its own private luxury-sized pool as well as a beautiful landscape panorama of Lake Isleworth.
One of the key aspects of the home that is striking right away is both the light décor of the interior colors, a dance between very light beige and white as well as the flooring with hand-laid wood patterns and marble tile panels.
The wordwork doesn’t stop in the main entry. It is included in the family and kitchen room in far greater capacity and craftwork was well. The ceilings for both rooms have inlayed carpentry as well as grand windows with great views of the adjacent lake area. The kitchen is not separate; despite being a luxury sized home, it is essentially one structural zone with the family room similar to a typical regular home in suburbia.
Some of the bedrooms, however, have very unique designs that are not cookie cutter. For example, one master bedroom has an extended alcove and bay windows overlooking the backyard as well as double-doors that open to the backyard pool. The wood design on the ceiling doesn’t stay in the common rooms; the bedroom ceiling is framed with the carpentry as well.
The home also comes with a full-size personal theater, a decked-out game room, and expansive closets and storage units as well. The master bathroom is also a work of art with extensive use of coordinated tile and interior design that flows from one feature to the next.
The pool area includes a standard rectangular swimming area with an adjacent hot tub separated by a walkway. Similar to a well-designed hotel pool area there are plenty of sitting and sunning areas for deck chairs and outdoor furniture. Finally, at the lower part of the property on the lake, the home includes a covered boat dock for an easy launch to the rest of the lake.
The Windmere home was originally purchased by Woods for almost $2.5 million. There has been some expansion work done on the property, reducing the by one bedroom but increasing the overall square footage at the same time.
After Woods the next owners did quite a bit of renovating as well, bringing the property to its current state. Now listed at $5.6 million, the Windmere home is an ideal location within a luxury neighborhood and a controlled entry area. It also is within walking distance to the community’s clay courts, the driving range, the clubhouse, and the puddle courts.
