Welcome to our gallery featuring a large number of fantastic swimming pools, both residential and commercial, complete with gorgeous waterfalls, both artificial and natural. While most of this gallery is made up of artificial pool waterfalls and man-made waterfalls, a few select images are of amazing natural pools with cascading waterfalls, like the Travertine Pools of Turkey.
Travertine pools are a form of limestone deposited around mineral springs or hot springs that resemble concentric steps. Water from the springs fill the travertines, creating pools. The Travertine Pools in Pamukkale, Turkey, are filled with crystal clear hot water and are one of the world’s Heritage Sites.
Waterfalls associated with residential swimming pools or landscaping serve a few purposes; as a long-standing part of traditional Japanese gardens, they produce white noise, act as a humidifier, and bring a calm, relaxing atmosphere to the space they belong to.
As a water feature, the simple, easy addition of a man-made waterfall can result in increased home value and curb appeal. These artificial and man-made waterfalls come in several different types.
Look for waterfalls made of stacked or layered flat, round, or multi-sized stones, and look for those made of cement olded to look like stone. We hope you’ll enjoy these fantastic examples of both natural waterfalls and artificial, man-made waterfalls attached to swimming pools.
