Welcome to our gallery highlighting the striking design in a midtown New York City 3 bedroom home by Homepolish.
The designers partnered with decor specialists ABC Home to design this spectacular luxury apartment in Midtown Manhattan’s Gotham West neighborhood, aiming for a perfect overlap space between utility and beauty. In other words, the home has been designed as a space equally adept at relaxing on the sofa and hosting fancy cocktail parties.
A contemporary open-plan design makes for a spacious interior, in a building equipped with luxurious amenities including courtyards with fireplaces, a rotating art gallery, and gyms. The designers leapt at the chance to craft this richly detailed 3 bedroom space with their favorite decor brand.
The organization of the home was sorted with an empty-nesting couple in mind. One of the former bedrooms became a sublime purple office, while another was transformed into a media room. This second space boasts a sofa bed for when the kids visit. The primary bedroom was revamped and updated with luxurious detail, including new blankets, accent tables, leather chairs, and artwork adorning the walls.
Throughout the rest of the home, a palette of bright whites, neutral tones, and occasional splashes of color makes for a distinctly modern yet warmly inviting interior.
Homepolish is changing the design industry one interior at a time with a network of over 225 designers in 10 US cities. Completely doing away with the traditional interior design model, they skip the commissions and product markups and charge a flat hourly fee.

The family room stands awash in natural light, courtesy of full height windows covering two walls and an open design that diffuses sunlight throughout. The white space is shot through with subtle color, centered on a large tree planted in a corner container.
A lot of high detail texture goes into this room, from the patterned area rug to the bespoke armchair in front of the window. The unfussy contemporary styled furniture makes for a subtly modern look.
The tables stand in elegant thin metal construction, making for an unobtrusive yet beautiful addition to the luxurious space. The gold hued table at right is matched by a low hanging wall sconce above.
The white wire-frame coffee tables, walls, and window framing all conspire to emphasize the bright and open nature of the interior.
Here we have a full view of the living room. The furniture arrangement, popping with a single large orange pillow on the grey sofa, subtly enhances the luxury while a large green tree ads a natural touch.
Turning around, we see the kitchen across from the open dining area. The dining table itself is a circular white design, surrounded by leather upholstered wire frame chairs.
The kitchen boasts rich natural wood tones across all cabinetry, adding an organic contrast to the sleek white surroundings. The hardwood flooring appears in a much lighter tone.
The dining table set perfectly centers the open-plan space, encompassing elements from throughout the interior in a minimalist fashion. A white bookshelf standing against the wall holds nicknacks and art pieces, adding detail and color to the room.
Across the open-plan floor, we see the kitchen counter, wrapped in off-black over warm wood tones. A set of unique three-legged bar stools provides in-kitchen dining space.
With ample countertop space for dining, the kitchen also boasts modern plumbing, stainless steel appliances, and sleek, hardware-free cabinetry.
The primary bedroom, also wrapped in white with light hardwood flooring, centers on a large leather upholstered bed in grey. A black and white patterned area rug fills the middle of the space, while rustic styled bedside dressers provide utility and storage.
Next to the immense windows, this black metal mesh accent chair holds a corner. A large landscape painting adorns the left wall, adding complexity and contrast to the bright room.
A pair of carved wood vases stand atop a free standing black display shelf, next to the wire frame chair. Simple bursts of color and detail truly inform the interior of this home.
The bedroom boasts an abundance of unique elements, including the rustic wood bedside dresser and accompanying lamp, with a chromed body and transparent shade.
In lieu of a traditional headboard, the primary bedroom sports this dual pane of framed black stained wood, adding a stark contrast to the white walls.
The media room, converted from a former bedroom, centers on an intriguing coffee table crafted of glass and knotty found wood. The sofa converts into a bed for when guests or children arrive.
The unconventional lighting in this room hints at the eclectic sense of detail and personality inherent in the design. Flashes of purple dot the room in the form of throw pillows and this geometric end table.
The sublimely purple home office rises from a matching patterned area run to wrap walls in the distinctive hue. This splash of color helps the home office stand out within the home.
Next to the area rug stands an industrial shelf table and pair of white cushioned club chairs. The hardwood flooring contrasts with the neatly artificial room coloring.
The office holds this exquisite modern-yet-rustic desk, with aged wood tabletop and drawers mounted over a dark wireframe metal design.
The pair of bespoke white and black chairs center around a unique table, with a small book-sized surface and thick marble base.
The luxurious industrial bookshelf here sports a high contrast look with white shelving and gold hardware. Above, a painting reflects the rich dark tone of the room.
The simple and elegant desk makes for a perfect foil to the sumptuous wall and area rug coloring.
In the hallway, the playful sense of detail and scope flourishes. Here we see another minimalist furniture piece, a bench with rustic wood top and metal wire framing, standing below a bright and colorful painting.
Further down the hall, we see another elegant use of rustic wood, with a minimalist end table standing at left.
