Welcome to our gallery highlighting the jaw-dropping REDJEU Apartment, designed by ALLARTSDESIGN.
This project, a bright and stylish apartment crafted for a young woman and her daughter, was designed by Saranin Artemy in 2015.
Located on the 16th floor of a new residential complex in the small town of Perm, Russia, the cozy sized space is flush with bold colors and rich elements.
The client enjoys hosting social gatherings, so the layout takes this into account. The central area is a bright, open space that’s inviting and conducive to interaction. The largely white color palette is spiked with bold orange tones.
That high contrast, bright look is central to the visual experience of this home. It supports the dynamic structural elements and surprising features in a cohesive way.
The living room centers on a “floating” gas fireplace and is completely open to the large kitchen, with many functional elements placed in the main hall. Sleek glass and steel tones highlight every angle.
That floating fireplace design masks its supports, resulting in an airy look despite its heft and size. It’s a unique presence that really sets the room, and the whole home, apart from other similarly laid out spaces.
Bedrooms are decked out in more bright colors, as is the dressing room.. These spaces feature unique touches like three dimensional textured wallpaper and ultra-modern lighting.
The primary bedroom is laid out in three parts, including a walk-in closet, sitting area, and a bedroom/workspace hybrid, where lighting and shape helps change the atmosphere of the room.
Ornamental, specialized LED acrylic lights are mounted on the walls and corners throughout the home, helping emphasize the bold personality and bright tone. As a final detail, the home is host to a set of wall mounted vertical gardens, adding an organic touch.

Here’s a look through the floating fireplace at the open living room and kitchen area. The bright patches of orange truly jump out immediately, setting the stage for the whole space.
Glossy white cabinetry stands at great contrast to the lush wall garden, emphasizing the sharp mood of the home. An orange sofa matches the sleek backsplash seen at right.
Here’s a look at the primary bedroom sitting area, with the dressing room in the background. A sliding door entry is obscured by a large photo print. The disco-styled overhead light casts patterns over the white and blue space.
Moving further into the room, we see the bed partitioned by a full size curtain. The soft blue glow of the lighting is meant to further clarify this space as distinct.
The bed features a soft blue headrest flanked by a pair of articulated sconces. Above is a set of sleek white cabinetry. To the left, we can see all of the lighting controls, mounted within reach of anyone in the bed.
Now we see the sprawling layout of the whole space, with light hardwood flooring giving way to thick carpet in the bedroom/office space. A set of sleek white cabinetry supports and surrounds the television, at left.
Here’s a close look at the multicolored chair standing against the built-in home office desk. The soft blue and white tones of the room make a perfect backdrop for such a bold piece of furniture.
Now we take a look at the main entryway for the home, where high contrast geometric wallpaper offers a startling break from the white color palette. A pair of small trees offers a hint of the wall gardens and a splash of warmth.
Here’s a close look at the three dimensional wallpaper found in the bedroom areas. It’s an intricate look that meshes well with the colored lighting and stark white backdrop of the home.
This bedroom features a lengthy headrest that spans the wall, with a hidden mounted light within that casts a soft glow across the wallpaper.
Now we return to the large central, social area of the home to take a closer look at the high contrast, colorful space. At center is the floating fireplace, with the kitchen seen at left and the living room at right.
Seen from the side, we can witness the cool floating motion of the fireplace. The entire central element is wrapped in glossy red and black paneling. To the right, a mounted television faces the open living room.
With an open design and glass facade on both sides, one can view right through the fireplace into the next area.
Here’s a look at the bright white kitchen, flush with glossy white cabinetry and spiked with a bright orange backsplash. The hardware-less cupboard doors create a seamless environment.
Here we see one of the bright orange sofas backed against the unique wall garden, with lush greenery spilling over the back. This feature adds a healthy dose of organic messiness to the ultra-clean look of the home.
The bathroom is awash in marble, adding a sense of texture to the white surroundings. Even here, a dose of color adds tension and contrast.
The bathroom combines many of the elements seen throughout the rest of the home, including sleek glass, bold orange tones, and a bit of natural wood.
