First of all, this project tried to capture the essence of the century-old existing building, which meant undoing most of the intervention that the building suffered 10 years ago and reorganize it for hospitality purposes. With that aim, most of the materials were substituted with more clean and minimal options and a great deal of care was given to keep a controlled and reduced color palette.
The structure was kept and given a more prominent role in the architecture and the furniture was chosen for its environmental concerns. A great deal of focus was given to the flexibility of options, hosts can choose between a 320m2 house with four rooms or smaller houses built in the old home vineyards.
