Ami McKay, Principal of Pure Design believes the foundation of great design is found in the art of giving. Giving of oneself to the process of creating a home that her clients can live their best lives. Pure Design was approached by a young couple who had already built their first home together, and had taken on the project management portion of their new build. Ami was brought in to create a full interior design package, as well as a cheerleader to help them through the project management. The beautiful juxtaposition of light oak and dark accents chosen throughout brings a warm feel to the home’s minimal design providing a calm setting to enjoy the stunning view of the North Shore mountains.
The kitchen, living room, and dining room boast a bright open floor plan including a wet bar in the kitchen, as this couple loves to entertain. A welcoming entryway, features a beautiful sconce and custom millwork providing storage for keys and necessities, while ensuring guests feel welcome. Trinity Residence utilizes both local artisan furniture and environmentally friendly, locally made, concrete countertops. PURE Design was successful in ensuring they attained the high end look they wanted for their dream home, all the while maintaining their budget, allowing them to start their lives together in a space that truly reflects who they are.
